Where the hell is Chair? We’ve been told so many times he’s almost ready, he’s back in training blah, blah, blah but still nothing. God knows we need him so why can’t the club be honest about it?

Kind regards,

Because it is all about PR. Don't want to look bad. Not paying for a QPR ladies' ACL? Don't worry, stick a release out on the site about how well we are looking after her. Don't actually explain the truth (which probably isn't that sinister - Nourry and Reilly both donated substantial funds to her crowdfunding by the looks of it).

Also vitally important that no-one knows when Chair will be back or we will be missing an edge to win points. Imagine if Boro see his name on the team sheet tomorrow - they may not even bother coming out onto the pitch as they know they are toast.

They could just treat us like grown ups.

You mean that he can get out of his bed unassisted now?
The fact that it’s Ramadan might be an advantage to us tomorrow, assuming he can last until ht when he should be able to break his fast.If he’s fit enough to play of course.

It's very frustrating. The dearth of information about our injuries and the inaccuracy of the snippets they do deign to give us is compounding fans' annoyance. I say this as a retired PR manager .

I do recall that during Sky's televised coverage of one of our recent games - possibly the Soton one - the commentator let slip that Chair had had a setback in his recovery. Groan.

Taking a broader view of things, if something doesn't change with how we manage our players' fitness and injuries, we fans might need to change our whole attitude to players availability.

No point talking about "when everyone is fit" any more: They weren't fit before they got injured and, although it's rare for any team to have 100% player availability, we're never going to achieve that.

Stop getting excited about how so and so's return from injury will help improve results: That return could be many months off.

The club's lack of openness and honesty is very poor, and frankly, disrespectful. We shouldn't need to rely on third party sources for information .

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I asked the same a few weeks back, but someone pointed out that IC had been seen in the tunnel during matches.

That was then of course, things change, and his CSO might still be active. If so, and given his 'injury' and us being all but safe, not inconceivable that he's seeing the CSO off now. Thus the question is: has anyone seen him regularly at the training ground during daylight hours, since his reported 'absence through injury'?

Not been the same since you know what.

Question: has he been seen around the place? If not, I wonder if he's still got some community service to finish off.

Last I heard, it was mid-April. Assuming that it takes a few games to get going, might as well say the season is over and just prepping him for next season or a summer sale.

It's what I expect to happen with Madsen too.

BTW: They said Larkeche remember him? Would be back in April too. Well see.

Mid April ? Probably not going to see Chair this season. If we could get Burrel back that would be good.

I think the time of the sunset would be after HT. Sunset is about half past five at the moment?

8 Jan was the last update from the club. Chair back in training later that month. So January and February came and went. Now in March.

Simply radio silence from Nourry and Cycling Ben. Utter shambles again this season with injuries.

The season is done. Flip flops are on. The odd player coming back between now and season end is meaningless.

Find something better to do until the World Cup, which is likely to be another farce of epic proportions.

Depressing. Still.

Always makes me chuckle when I read things like “when we get everybody back fit..”

That will simply never happen with these people in charge of fitness and performance and shopping in this market

Not in any way being facetious about his crime, but if this the case, then this is the third or fourth time he has done community service since he was convicted. Basically every long-term injury he has had over the past two years.

Sadly, I think Chair as a consistent and decent performer for ourselves, those days are gone. His injuries will dominate the rest of his career now, i feel.

I am told with some of our injuries, setbacks can happen.

There is no competitive advantage in withholding information about how players are progressing or not in their recoveries. Initially, i felt maybe the club feel by letting too much information out, they felt it could lessen transfer fees and negotiation tactics, but that doesnt stand up either, if they are all very long term absences.

But the lack of information and updates is actually cruel and treating fans with contempt. And actually potential players will be put off from coming here, fearing the set up, does nothing to help player availability.

The performance team and the PR team also, both need a clean slate and a whole new approach and a total turnover of staff.

And the smokescreens dont fool anyone, but worse infuriate the fans. The news on the official site of the help a young female player is getting from the club. Great and pleased but the minimum you would expect. Well, likewise put up information, up about as many of the mens squad currently out also.

There have been changes by this hierarchy that i have been pleased with, but radio silence and sometimes radio b*llsh*t, just simply infuriates all fans and any plus points this leadership have achieved, is all completely lost, as fans arent stupid and yes, most of us can understand big words and even if we cant, there are much better ways of conveying this to all.

If someone comes out and suggests FAN ENGAGEMENT is a priority, as Christian, himself has said. Well, thats utter bull. Look, we want to know why are favourite players arent playing and we want to hear how they are progressing or not, as the case maybe.

This smacks of arrogance, but also its just also just plain DUMB. Fans actually can read between the lines, and would just appreciate HONESTY and OPENNESS.

What they havent realised its this lack of COMMUNICATION that is making the fanbase angry. Its not the results, we realise the injuries will have an impact. This is such a MASSIVE own goal by the club and just IDIOTIC and completely UNNECCESSARY.

Start TALKING people and just tell us the truths.

i cant say how MAD this is.

For so called intelligent men this PR Cover up is DONALD-esque in its STUPIDITY
