Overrated Band: Muse. I just don't get it. They're seen as some sort of technical metal band but they aren't that technical and aren't that heavy. And that singer... f**king hell. What an awful voice. I can't believe people listen to him by choice. Absolute shit.

I was a bit like that with Elton and then you look at the tunes he wrote and I was persuaded to see him at the O2 - it was excellent, he was great, and way better than I expected or hoped.
Red Hot Chili Peppers for me. One approach that they've wrung out for 40+ years. Flea's sound, John Frusciante is doing interesting EDM and Chad Smith is perfectly reasonable. But the songwriting is just so dated now, and Kiedis is an ar*e of the highest order.
As a single artist, Moby. One great album - I mean, REALLY great album, but the rest? Meh.

UB40 fell severely from grace.
Signing off is a great album (IMO), some early non album singles too. Even Present Arms was quite good. But from Labour of Love vol 1 (did they need vols 2, 3 & 4 ?), they pretty much remained a covers band. Until of course they had a family feud and became 2 covers bands.

I always thought Radiohead were shit and I maintain that all their popular albums were. But when they fked that all off and did Kid A they changed.
Musically they are unbelievably good. I'm not sure I actually like much of it but there is shit they do that is on a different level.
