Although we haven't won there since the last plague we kind of absolutely need to win there tomorrow to put to bed any fears of being dragged into the relegation problems. Win and we should be fine. Lose there and it really does start to get itchy. Plus we would have to honour of them I think being the only team after lockdown not to gain any points. I wouldn't put it another defeat beyond us but a win tomorrow will at least take the stress out the team and us fans.

Never knowingly right.

LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY.

Really satisfying result that. They were shocking, but we did a good job in difficult circumstances.

Peach of a goal (very Rangers that poor old Hugill would knacker himself in the process of scoring it.) Massive respect to Lumley for stepping back in so impressively. That Ossie Kakay run to the corner flag at the end was a thing of beauty. BOS and Manning fully on board as well.

LOVELY.

Immense result for us! Well done team! Does that mean we are Mathematically safe now?
Great goal by Hugill and Lumley needed that performance. Excellent day all round.

I didn't see the first 2 games but that team was fit and played good ish tempo 95 mins. It must have been a timing issue with match fitness, players maybe weren't as fit as they should have been coming back?
Whatever it was I saw no lack of desire, actually an improvement on closing down loose balls and a desire to rectify mistakes

Nice one Rangers. Phew, and breathe...

Thanks Brian et al for all the updates. I was toggling between here and the BBC website, while doing the washing up (and reading my teach yourself Italian book). I now really need a lie down.

E stata una partita stupenda per QPR!

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I think this might be a job to many for Neil. he looked a lot less animated than he usually is when losing.

Still think we need someone in midfield who can pick out a good pass. Ball,Cameron and Amos all playing together is not going to break down the opposition. Bring back Ali Faurlin!

Neither of them are the answer to the problem IMO but you have to acknowledge a decent performance by Lumley today .

Well done Rangers, great result! Hopefully this is the start of a winning run and strong finish to the season. Still gutted we dropped points against Barnsley and Charlton.

Great result R’s. Well done Lumley. KayKay was a star. Thanks Glenn for the stream though it did crash for the goal
I was so sure we would lose today that I just kept my head down and my gob shut

Strong and stable my arse.

Deserved three points, and got them. Pleased with that performance. Much better passing and confidence with the ball.

The back line did well today, but Kakay and Lumley deserve special mention.

Have no idea how we’ll operate if Hugill is out for an extended period, but the team played very well with the lead. Boro was pretty dreadful.

Looks like we needed the first couple of games back to get fitness levels back as have looked the fitter team in the last two matches. Lots of good performances today all round with Lumley, Kakay, Manning & Bright most impressive.

Struggling to understand his motivation for taking this job. I’m sure he’s on good money but he must have made enough by now.

Just feels a bit beneath him unless he’s trying to replicate what he did with us by taking Boro from relegation threatened to promotion within a season.

Well done Rangers. You can argue relegation was never really on the agenda.(.....) but no matter. Team, club and fans really needed that.

Warbs is 'Mr Snappy' in the way that Ian Holloway never was....

Fabulous win.

I couldn't bear to watch as 7 weeks of depression had taken its toll on my stress levels. It must be a while since we won 7 away in a season so credit to them for that.

I hope we will keep this going now and get revenge against Wednesday next weekend for knocking us out of the cup. They have nothing to play for either.

Ever so pleased to be proved wrong. I couldnt see us scoring again this year but this one goal is enough to keep us up, thats for sure

QPR have been poor since the restart but I though Middlesborough were totally and utterly awful. I cannot see them staying up if they play theor remaining games like that - even with Warnock

Good display all round with no real weak links. Outstanding from Kakay and Lumley, who, apart from one occasion where he came out for the ball and missed it, made no mistakes. Hope Hugill’s injury is nothing serious but in any case it would be good to give Oteh some more appearances to show what he can do. Manning and Kane both look much improved.

Boro on 16:21 - Jul 5 with 957 viewsLblock

Kakay has grabbed his chance, fair play to him.

Lumley played really well, still one fumble though. Pleased for him and he looked like he was loving it.

Credit to Dom Ball, did the work of two men in there I think. Reason being the Spurs loanee still looks like he won't be much more than an academy prospect; he is so, so weak.
Also credit to Bar-Bay, some great challenges and also got forward well.

Boro look awful, yet we didn't really pepper the keeper. Needed that win today and we're nearly there.

Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal
