Pulis sacked on 06:01 - Dec 29 with 4045 views | DannyPaddox | I’d like to think I was fairly informed about the Championship this season but I have no idea who he was managing. I’m going to for Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday, or the newly formed isle of Man-based football franchise 1FC Torpedo Pulis. Edit: Just googled it - I remain “fairly informed about the Championship”. [Post edited 29 Dec 2020 9:17]

Maybe we should try not paying the players. I’m thinking no wages for Bonne until he makes an onside run?
Pulis sacked on 09:37 - Dec 29 with 3492 views | nix | Apparently he wanted more money for players in January. Given that they can't pay the players they've got, that sounds a bit crazy. I wouldn't have thought Pulis came cheap, so that'll be a big cost to them for a very short and not particularly fruitful interlude.

oi! leave us out of it! We're hiding out from 'rona over here, hoping everyone forgets us. Big breasted women have now been barred from wearing make-up on their facebook profiles in order to stop the influx of jetski romeos from Scotland with kilo's of smack in their backpacks being dropped offshore by Scottish fishing boats.

we could have him with Warbs. Mike them both up to our wingers, who will spend the 90 minutes running in tight circles on the halfway line.

absolutely not Leave Gaz as the legend he is - he won't improve things. As a said before my Charlton season ticket next door neighbour (who is a decent bloke and would tell you how it is) says that not a single tear would have been shed for Bonne and he flattered to deceive all of last season with only a few good games. Dykes is proving how difficult it is to step up from Scottish football to the Championship and that leaves Chair with the pressure of "not being the Eze replacement - but being the Eze replacement" because BOS has been told for some reason recently "if you can be bothered during the game, just get the ball and keep roasting fullbacks until you run out of pitch and try and win a corner before you run in to the hoardings" In fairness to Gaz I would rather he stuck with Wycombe now that they seems to have a bit more financial stability or worst case he moved to another Championship club and proved he can work with decent players on a restricted budget and show improvement - I would hate to be back in the stands in April and May and listen to some of the bile coming from the very back two rows of F/G block that will start raining down on him when we are still 19th (if we are lucky) and losing 0-1

Exactly this. Never appoint a favourite. At least 10% of the support never liked them when they were playing, a further 20% are just moaners, so they’ll be on his case the minute you go three games without a win regardless. If things are looking bad after 15 games, things turn toxic. If they do well, at some point results will drop off or things will stagnate, at which point 50%+ are calling for them to go, and another 25% are keeping schtum, but secretly hoping they go. If they do really well, at some stage they will either leave for a bigger club or international football, at which stage, 50% of the support will call them a greedy c unt. I would never want a Fulham fan or former player managing us again. Too painful.
