OK I'm going for it!

Odds for Charlie anytime score 11/4 and we look quite good value at 5/2 as well.

Just gone for the tenner on Charlie again.

I'll go for 2-1 win as feeling optimistic.

Played Bridge against a Swansea ST holder today. He was certain that we would win!

Since we started playing against each other, we seem to have adopted the other's club as our Championship back up team!

Whisper it, but we're yet to concede in 2021 prior to full time!

I said at the start of the match thread that these 2 games are massive for the clubs season if Cardiff would of won they would have been 8 points clear of us now , we have closed the gap to them to 2 points, beat Derby on Saturday and we go 8 clear of them
Job done tonight now it’s all about Saturday

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

That Cardiff side reminded me of us last season, all thrust and no finish. They look very limp without Moore.

Great win. Thought the postponement might have disrupted our Momentum but it hasn’t. Keeping Warburton a little bit vindicated I think. That was a very organised side. That monstrous shot aside I even thought Kane and Hamalainen played well.

We needed those two wins because teams around us have been picking up points.

Great win and clean sheet. I must admit I didn't think we would win as I was sure we would end Cardiff's bad run of defeats. Good to see an opponent lose 6 in a row instead of us.

But we won today without him...let's go again v Derby

Fair. But important to acknowledge (a piece of praise as much as criticism) that Warburton has changed not just out formation but also our style. We are much more direct. Much more pragmatic. Look at our possession stats. Look at the number of clearances vs playing out. He’s effectively admitted he had got it wrong and persisted with the wrong style for too long.

So credit where it’s due for being more pragmatic and changing style, not dying on the altar of “passing football”. But criticism of him up to that change was also warranted. We have not got these results from sticking to our guns. Far from it.

Dieng and Dickie outstanding, but delighted for Bonne, who really shoved my criticisms of him down my thoat and then some. Deserved a goal. Willock did well, and got his first of hopefully a few more this season.

Cameron a liability tonight and could have been booked at least three times more than he was. Kane poor again, as was Chair. Dykes still doesn't really convince, I'm afraid.

A lot that wasn't pretty, but we deserved it for an improved 2nd half against an admittedly dreadful Cardiff, even if our goalkeeper did more than anyone to get us the points.

Talking of keepers, what the feck has happened to Smithies?

I know you just love to dwell on the negatives wherever possible but what a load of complete bollox to say Cameron was a liability and Kane was poor. Both played their part in a second clean sheet in a row: Kane was pushing for MOTM for me.
Classy of you to dig out a couple of other players as well: you just can't help yourself.

ALL of them put in a great shift tonight in very difficult conditions and thoroughly deserved the win. So there.

We need probably 2 central midfielders: a dirty physical bastard and a passer in the next 10 days.

We really are struggling for spare players now. Losing him and BOS in the same week means we're struggling for cover.

Shout out to Macauley Bonne for coming on and adding impetus to a dying game. A reminder from his performances / personal circumstances not to write people off after three months.

The spine of the team is looking stronger than in recent times.
Seny , Dickie and Charlie are all having a positive effect, just need an Amos type in midfield to complete the pack. Reports of LTC are not good.

Quite right, a couple of posters upthread saying "well done" and owning up to having been critical, but no apology needed IMO, it was perfectly sound to be critical earlier, we were terrible and a lot of it was his fault (I'm speaking as one who's been dead against getting rid).

I do think Warburton has showed a couple of times that the "No Plan B" criticism is unfair, he's stubborn but he has more than once done what previous managers haven't and got us out of a slump.

Cameron WAS a liability and some of Kane's crossing was diabolical.

But., A WIN - YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

Dieng next level, Bonne made a huge difference 'cos Charlie offered little tonight. Willock looked the part and Ball holding the Midfield together at times.

Dykes just doesn't look like scoring (although his one following Morrison's collapse at the end should have stood), but I am starting to see some positives there.

LTC could be a big loss in terms of numbers if nothing else. Will Warbsy give Bettache a go?

Around 6 more wins to stay up the sooner we get them, the better...

(Cardiff were v poor tonight...).

Can we go out yet?

He was a bit lucky to not get a second yellow but otherwise solid enough. Don’t recall any major errors.

I got a pretty poor odds of 4/1 on QPR to win and Charlie to score at anytime, had a free five pound bet with ladbrokes as my acca yesterday missed by one.

Referee cost me a score then . Just seen it players head was low rather than foot high.
