Dieng and Dickie outstanding, but delighted for Bonne, who really shoved my criticisms of him down my thoat and then some. Deserved a goal. Willock did well, and got his first of hopefully a few more this season.
Cameron a liability tonight and could have been booked at least three times more than he was. Kane poor again, as was Chair. Dykes still doesn't really convince, I'm afraid.
A lot that wasn't pretty, but we deserved it for an improved 2nd half against an admittedly dreadful Cardiff, even if our goalkeeper did more than anyone to get us the points.

Fantastic result to back up the Luton win, thought team were pretty switched on to see out the last 10 as well, good game management, Cameron was a little heavy in his challenge on the edge of the box but it was a definite dive and he was about to pull the trigger so can't blame him.
Thought the ref gave soft pulls and tugs against us but at least a couple of times they barged or pulled at our defenders and got away with it, the close call for the penalty incident with Cameron being the most obvious.

Well after an hour I'd have put everything I own on that finishing 0-0. Great result from a dire game. Didn't see anything wrong with Austin's goal, nor really Dykes' at the end, and we should have had a penalty first half as well. |
