I'd add that there are fewer question marks hanging over his head than over certain other members of the squad.
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

It does depend on whether MW stays but if he does it's an easy decision. He stays. We know what we have, great pace and versatility. To recruit four players, we don't know, who are better or at least as good as him would be extremely difficult.

For me it's between needing one right back or two. Less upheaval to give him a new deal and look to build, rather than needing a starter and a back up. He's good enough for us imo. Plus I love how much he winds up Sheff Weds fans by simply existing

I think stick because 1) He's already here 2) He can cover both RB and LB which means we perhaps only need to sign 2 players total for there 3) I can't imagine he's on a vast wage 4) We aren't going to get much better as the cover option

Depends on - what alternative they think they can get - what salary he's on - who the manager is going to be (very much Warbs' man) - who you're going to cover him with, because he obviously can't do 40+ games
Yeah, I like his effort but we need players that we expect to stay fit, particularly in the wing-back positions. Kane, for all his limitations/stupidity, stayed fit and was actually an integral part of our run at the end of the season before he was stitched up by the bus-stop boys.

He could be decent and with the right coaching he could improve on the things he's good at so he can do it more consistently. Crossing the ball, if he can get that right 9/10 times like Uncs was for the best part of the season, he'd go from alright to good. Also, cut out the going to ground tackling back as well as he can be a bit of a liability.
A work in progress. Surely the type of player we need to get, improve and sell?

He'll be 29 this summer so i think the boat of making a profit on him has sailed unfortunately. Defo stick however.

So if the general consensus is to keep him as a 'back up' - where does that leave our actual back-ups - Kakay and Adomah?
Kakay simply isnt good enough which is a shame. Adomah is 34 (?) and not a full back. If we're to be serious about a promotion push we need suitable players, Moses is one

He's the best WB/ FB we have, right side or left side, and one of the few players we have with pace. He's a shoe in for a contract renewal ASAP if he wants to stay and doesn't get snapped up by one of our rivals if we don't get him signed up again quick.

Surprised at the readiness to assume he was swinging the lead in the first half of the season, rather than short of confidence. He looked miserable coming on against Rotherham in the cup then going off injured. The Blackpool game was a turning point, heroic in defence and a great ball to Thomas to set up the winner. Straight after he was our best at Blackburn despite having the shyte kicked out of him. All the talk about him being passable on one side but a liability on the other went out of the window when the form of everyone around him collapsed. Keep him, he’s versatile and committed if he gets a fair chance.

Warbs' quotes in this sound like Moses won't be getting a new deal. Or maybe he's referring to being asked about him by the new QPR manager...who knows?

No chance of a new contract with QPR. Shows how fragile professional football life can be. Will remember the ManU pre-season goal. Best of luck to him still relatively young.

Three months out for Moses. I can't remember a run of such bad long term injuries with a squad. Almost the entire back line and keepers decimated along with Willock. At least we have Ball still available if we suffer more back line injuries.
