Might mean we are playing a back four or Beale has another CB in mind.

Salter, Masterson, Dickie and Dunne. Kakay as back up....at the moment.

Smells like a trout farm in here

Would love to know how much we got for him.

I guess this will mean Masterson will be in the first team squad. Beale would have known him during his time at Liverpool.

As with Moses, didn't fit Beale profile, age and injury wise. Never forget completing the comeback v Millwall though

He said in his interview with west London sport the formation may change depending on what suits the players, said he prefers a 4-3-3 but has also played a back 3.

That's the problem 'when he played'. Managed 10 games last season.

Feels like there's a theme developing here - whether by choice or necessity, not giving squad places to players unlikely to be able to physically do a full season.

It's becoming obvious that Beale's mission is to cut the squad age down and work with players that have sell on values down the line at 26-27.

Masterson and Gubbins will be brought on so they are ready and Field will also drop into the back 4 if ever needed I suspect.

Never knowingly right.

What a waste of time that signing was

And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles Brian Moore

If you look at his defensive stats they are decent. Bit of risk letting him go.

I think Warbs biggest mistake outside of plodding youth was pushing him to go on loan. When that happened we started to ship goals. True it started when he was around still, but it really ramped up with no understandable way of stopping it when he was gone.

zzzzzzzzzz

it wasnt his or the clubs fault unless you think Jimmy Dunne beating him out of the team counts as a fault. I dont think they expected Dunne to be so good so soon.

If we got a fee then it definitely ately wasnt.

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

I hope Field is not ever used in the back 4 as he has played in there twice and we lost 3-1 at Forest 2 seasons ago and 3-1 at home to Sheff Utd last season.

Ball was better as cover for that role and the powers that be let him go.

Masterson will be an interesting one as Beale should know him well already having managed him at Liverpool's U23s and overseen him being moved to the senior squad a couple of times.

Not wanting to p1ss on everyone's parade, but our squad as it stands looks suspiciously like providing the team we had eighteen months ago that many said was the quietest on pitch they'd ever seen.

I know we still have Jojo, but there isn't much seniority there at all.

The only difference is that some of those individuals are a year older and have 40+ additional games...

Can we go out yet?

He was decent when he played but fitness was an issue so for me this transfer is a good outcome for all concerned.

Exactly this. The likes of Dieng. Dickie and Willock were in the first 6 months of their ( first team) QPR career. All seasoned pros now
