Can't see one?

3-2 us. Dykes hattrick.

Never knowingly right.

We were the better side in the 2nd half, but boy did Stoke almost steal it at the death. Commentators thought it was going in.

FT. A nothing burger of a first half, everyone putting in an effort but little to write home about. Much better second half, we dominated for 40 mins and just unlucky (though their keeper had a solid game), to not walk away with a win,

Thanks for the updates Boston.

2nd half was much better, unlucky not to win. Not sure what to make of what Roberts rings to the team. Lots of tricks but not much to show for it. Would prefer Dykes to start.

Another clean sheet which is a positive. We are still struggling at LR though, and against moderate opposition too.Time for a break 😎

this. We need referee's to act in a manner showing they have more understanding of the game.

Thought the Ref had a fair game, for most of it, then the power of the yellow card went to his head near the end.

On chances second half that's 2 points dropped, but a good performance second half.

Loads of chances incl, Paal back post, Dunne point blank header, Laird shot nr post and Dykes on the turn deflected just wide. Couple of blocks in the box as well could have gone anywhere.
Thought Stoke looked a good side first half but second half we stepped it up and dominated the game. Couple of chances for them late on, would have felt like a robbery if one had went in.
Sh1thousery from them last 10 mins with constant fouling and stopping the game flow.

Pleased with the performance and into 6th at the int break.
Amos and JCS hopefully back as options for Beale.

Smells like a trout farm in here

I thought he let them break up the game far too much, lots of little,annoying,game-breaking fouls allowed to accumulate without adequate censure.

Not too unhappy with that.

They shaded the first half, we shaded the second without making any proper clear cut chances. Their keeper had to make a couple of smart saves but nothing you wouldn’t expect him to stop.

They weren’t easy to play against and nullified Chair and Willock well. Dykes changed it for us in the second half when we looked more likely but felt like there was always the chance we could get mugged at the death (and almost did twice through Campbell’s low shot and the penalty shout which could well have been given).

Clean sheet, builds on Millwall win and keeps momentum going into the international break.

Poll: And it's hi ho

0-0, 2nd clean sheet and a point. Certainly a game of 2 halves. First was pretty even, if perhaps Stokes, the 2nd was definitely ours and we'll think 0-0 is a fair result
Their keeper had a good game, and flint is a monster who was very good
Bit disappointed we couldn't muster a singer for GSTK as Millwall had, but the crowd made up for that
Thought our MOTM was Balogun he had a really good game today, closely followed by Laird.
Roberts had a pretty average day, not sure if this false 9 is for him, or he is not quite match fit.... but he did flatter to deceive
So into the break 6th, two clean sheets and time to regroup
A strange day at HQ, often wonder if the occasion sometimes gets to the players as that first half was pretty disjointed for both teams
Never happy when we don't win.... but can't say this has ruined my Weekend

On the way home. Stoke came the point and got it, but on another day we would have got 2.
2nd half much better, Dykes for me starts ahead of Roberts. Like some others have said I'm not sure where he fits.
Another clean sheet, decent performance and a chance for everyone to come back from the injuries.
As an aside, if we played like Stoke every week I wouldn't be a season ticket holder. Utter dirge to watch.

Poll: How is Nourry cooking so far ? 🤣

Hugely frustrating again. Not because of the effort or the clean sheet but the aggravating fact that another home game slips by without scoring a second half goal down the Loft end. It seems that unless we get a first half lead on our own patch we ain't going to win it in the second half. Getting beyond a joke now.

Will we ever score again down the Loft end? That's the question?

Paal’s shot and Illy’s missed header about as clear cut as you can get i think!
Good performance, deserved the win, another point and clean sheet. Not too disheartened by that.

Bare bones.

FT REPORT
QPR 0 Stoke 0
How frustrating.
We started like a kettle of cold water having not flicked the switch to have a cup of tea.
But slowly we began to simmer with the switch definitely turned on.
As soon as sub Dykes came on immediately after HT the water temperature - in our so called kettle - increased to near boiling point.
Unfortunately a total of 20 shots from eight of our players couldn't give us the 3 points we richly deserved.
However we could have been robbed a minute before the end of normal time.
A Campbell shot for Stoke beat Seny but curled just past the left hand post.
We had two clear chances - a Jojo strike just before the break well saved by their keeper Bursik. And that was after a splendid spell of play from Laird.
He twice won the ball to create the opportunity.
The other clear chance fell to unmarked Chair - a header towards the end - after a Paal cross.
But have no doubt this was a tough Stoke side.
Their new boss Alex Neil obviously learned a few things when he was in charge at Sunderland recently when Chair with a free-kick from the edge of the box and never to be forgotten Seny's brilliant header saved the game in the dying seconds.
Those other 18 shots from us were blocked - sometimes a bit lucky but many because the opposition smartly got their players back into position.
Now going into the international break where are we?
I have no complaints.
The team is steadily improving.
We are 6th before Rotherham play at Middlesbrough tonight.
We have 15 points from our opening 10 games - the same as last year.
We have players that can score goals as indicated by at least 8 of our players having chances against Stoke.
We have two excellent full-backs in Laird and Paal and you can add in centre-back 34 year old Balogun. He is impressive.
Forget his age. He is lean and quick with lots of skill and hopefully he'll stay healthy.
And yes for the second successive game we kept a clean sheet.
Don't be surprised that when Clarke-Salter is ready to rumble we will have all four of our new signings on display at the back - Laird, Balogun, CS and Paal with Dickie and Dunne as the back-ups.
As for the match - as someone described on here - we huffed and puffed - but couldn't quite blow the house down.
The team played well but as Warburton used to say - we didn't get our rewards.
If you took a graph from our first Championship game to now - it is clear - that we are improving.
I'm slowly becoming a Mike Beale disciple.
He seems to have a clear plan and a clear path in front of him.
And like the kettle - hopefully it will come to boil and we can all have a nice cup of tea.
Have a good two-week break.

We were much much better when Dykes came on. Stoke were playing for 0-0 after half time.

It is perplexing, the lack of second half goals kicking towards the Loft 🤔 Have we scored one this season? Wonder if the players are thinking about it?
