Manager is the most important person at the club.
If it can be afforded, and he's the right man, it's a no-brainer.

If he’s the ‘right man’, but there’s a risk he might press the ‘homesick spouse & family’ button then would he still be the right bet, based on what he’s going cost us up front?

Probably not, in my opinion.

I’m pleased to see that the board have a clear view of what sort of manager they want that’s for sure, instead of raiding the lost property box full of Redknapps and Pulises.

Either a) Neil has demanded the wealth of a small nation and we can’t afford it or b) this guy has an agent who is from the Mick Beale school of “never turn down a job interview” and just wants his client to get an English gig. If it isn’t B I’d be shocked

Good manager, I'd take him.

I’ve no idea if he’s a good manager or not, but I like the idea of someone unknown who’ll get a chance without being pre judged too much although Warnock will always be a sword of Damocles over whatever manager isn’t him from now until eternity.

Even when Warnock is dead there'll be some dark corner of the QPR internet wondering if really just some Black Magic to reanimate him is the solution to all of whatever our problems are then.

Does what the tin says
If the tin was in Spanish
Relegation he’d banish
But unable to find that magic tin opener
He took the whole squad on a bus trip to Bognor
Abandoned them all on the cold Bognor seafront
Went straight back to Sweden feeling a right…eejit

"Cifuntes was already in December in question for the coaching job in QPR, but then the London club chose to nob the 41-year-old"
