That's a shame.
I hope he hasn't felt hounded out. I don't always agree with him but he's a really valuable resource on the board.
As for this ref, I don't see how a ref doesn't influence the outcome. Even if it's just by giving every 50/50 (or 60/40) to the other team, you're influencing the game because we kept having to win the ball back, which is exhausting in the end. |  | | |

Being away from home against a team that are more than likely to go straight back up we had 5 shots on target to their 3 shots on target, we had 11 shots to their 7 shots In other words we simply must be more clinical In front of goal.
As bad as the bloody ref was we've come away with nothing and if we'd have been a bit more street wise in front of goal we'd have got what we deserved today which at a minimum was a draw. |  |

Definitely, and I think if it had been later in the game when we were chasing a goal there would have been more outcry over it from players and coaching staff. But because it was relatively early it perhaps felt less consequential. But objectively it was an appalling decision that could have changed the course of the game. | | | |
