Transfer rumours 2024 19:24 - Apr 28 with 767818 viewsWilkinswatercarrier

Started already since we thumped the Yorkshire Massive so going early.

Apparently we are linked with Bosun Lawal. Celtic, on loan at Fleetwood, centre midfield or centre back. 20 years old, Irish apparently.

Feel free to add as they come in !

No wonder we've not heard anything regarding Willock

Thought Willock had dodgy hamstrings, not eyes!

Smells like a trout farm in here

He appears to be a right back. I'm guessing he can also play wingback.

The good thing is is we get him and he's any good we can eventually sell him to Hevertton.

He can play also as a right midfielder in a midfield 3 or 4 or as a left back.

Isn't Mr Willock a devout Christian boy.

Didnt know going for the "brief holiday romance" thing is allowed in the world of Jesus.

Anyhow being turned down and women turning their noses up at him in a dodgy Spanish resort bar, finally I have something in common with one of our qpr footballing role models !!!!!

I am available Marti !!!

I think she was allright myself a sweet girl being careful in a bar nothing wrong with that.
I did get a laugh when she said he is playing for a club in London and her friend chipped in with "Arsenal I Think " it should have been obvious it was QPR
Is he staying or going does anybody have a clue and will the decision be next week .
I think by the way Marti rates him he could be staying

According to this, he's a RM who's played a bit at CB and RB https://www.transfermarkt.com/hevertton/leistungsdatendetails/spieler/695121

Ah Herol Graham, if his career started 10 years before or 10 years after, he would have been world champion, but always looked good and rarely in a bad fight.

I like Paal, good championship player. But not irreplaceable. Happily take a fee for him.

Do we think that Larkesche is ready to step up?

It's difficult to offer an opinion on Larkeche as we've seen little of him. I'd tend to think we'd bring in a new LB should Paal leave. At 21 Larkeche still has time on his side.

Agreed on Larkeche he appears to be more of an attacking option that defending balls to the wall type so if we cash in on Paal then we would need a new addition.
I would love to see Larkeche establish himself in the first 11 he seems to have a lot of drive and skill but has not been able to break through yet .

Larkeche does seem like an aggressive forward thinking LB of the little we've seen of him, direct goal involvements vs Stoke (H) and Preston (A) off the top of my head. Marti only really used him in that capacity when looking to inject some energy. Defending wise he clearly prefers Fox for that backs to wall job. With a bench of +7 subs a useful option to have.

Sounds like the right approach. He just signed a new contract but if he can't produce at Orient, we will need to cut ties.

When it comes to defending I think I’d take my chances on you over Larkeche. Hopefully one who comes back a lot stronger and better but I can’t honestly see it.

I'm happy to give him time to improve, but Larkeche doens't look ready to be a first choice LB at the moment. I think at times he tried a bit too hard, and ended up giving away silly freekicks etc, hopefully with a bit more confidence that would happen less. Sub only or a loan would be best for him I think.

How about left footed Jimmy at LB? Supposedly he couldn’t do RB either, not that anyone had ever considered it…

Didn't Sam Field give an interview last summer saying he wasn't on any social media at all, and that he had no interest in it.

Always liked that about him.

Certainly looks like Heverrton is signing - will truly be watching a few players I haven't a clue about with him, Nardi and this Elisor come August if they all go through.
