My take too.
I think the relegation battle this year might not be that exciting. You can see Norwich escaping with their resources, and easily see Oxford and Pompey joining Wednesday, all being relegated well before the end of the season. There is already a bit of a gap and everyone above pulls out results now and again.
It’s why I want us to go to Portsmouth and win, comfortably. We are still only winning when we have less possession that the opposition, and our result versus the current bottom 3 are DLD. Let’s get a win on Boxing Day. |

Good point. With finances tight at Leicester and Marti effectively paying half of QPR's compensation figure by foregoing some of the wages and the signing-on fee he was due from Leicester, he may be in a stronger bargaining position than I initially thought. Factor in the prospect of a points deduction looming over the club for alleged PSR breaches, and changing managers suddenly doesn't seem like a good idea. At least not for now. | | | |

On that note…… just what the f is going on with their “hearing”????
Every single time the EFL have a club on the rack they code it up and bumble about. It makes me think even more that we should’ve strong’d em out on our hearings even though we were bang to rights on both occasions.
If they were to throw the foxes a 12 point deduction, big fine and an embargo it would certainly make things interesting down there.

Their players are behaving like a lot of the ones Hughes and Redknapp lumbered us with - like they're too good for the club, like the relegation wasn't their fault, like they really belong somewhere else.

That's why I think trying to extrapolate anything from our performance in that game is pointless. Yes, we played well but caught them cold with the early goal, after which they couldn't really be arsed. As you say, we've seen that vibe all too often from the reverse angle. |  |
