He's had to deal with long term injuries he's never had before, court case and becoming a father. This is, what his 5th game back. He gets that fitness up, watch him go.
The thing about Illias is that he might make mistakes going forward, but his touch is immaculate, he rarely loses the ball in dangerous positions or even at all, always shows for the ball and above everything else, his energy in getting back into defensive positions should embarrass all of our forward players.
Honestly I know I am biased and go on about it too much, but I simply cannot fathom what this potential one club legend does to attract even an element of doubt from our fans. Those that criticise him just won't realise what he gives us until he goes.
A shame.
Great entertainment that, great win, but we need to sort out our defence. Maybe we can get a settled back 4 and see the improvement... |  |

Enjoyable game.
I was slightly bemused by the team's reaction to Hull's first goal, and also the comms team's reaction: thought it was a touch glum, a touch defeatist.
The reaction to the second goal was excellent, and we bossed the game immediately and until we scored the third, and looked in control all the way until the final whistle, by and large.
