W Ham losing last night good or bad thing? 10:50 - Jan 7 with 4546 viewswelwynranger

IMO it's a good thing because I believe they will pick a weakened team.
To save players for the league must wins they have coming up in the next few weeks.
Realistically they are not going to win the FA Cup, but they must stay in the Prem.
They can't fill the ground now. If they go down which is very likely its a financial disaster.
That's what I think.

But it could all become irrelevant if the usual QPR cup team go there.

Let's hope we go for the jugulasr and tear them a new one.
Give the 9000 plus something to sing about and be proud of.

Please let it 'appen.

By "for nuffink" I assume he means no wage but a huge bonus if he keeps 'em up and around £1Mill into Rosie's old account as severance once he leaves in May.

The current Board there are aware of historical whiffs and are savvy (tight b'stards).
I'd be amazed if they considered him for a nano second

I bet he knows some triffic pros who happen to have the same agent as him (who will be extremely grateful and reward Rosie handsomely) and may have had a recent patchy injury record but are now top drawer…

Fulham won there before Christmas and sang “Say hello to QPR” a reference to Wet Spam’s probable descent to the Championship rather than the Cup game. Warms my heart when Fulham sing about us. Shows they care.

That is quite funny.

No difference. Who in their right mind thinks we're going to win this?

Well judging by the Knees Up Mother Brown West Ham forum there is a planned red card protest due at the game on Sunday, but the WHAM fans are worried that there will not be many fans there to protest and are trying to encourage fans to attend.

Saw one thread stating they have lost 30k previous season ticket holders and reading the posts they hate the 'bowl' as they call it. Lots of tourists and freebies are bulking the attendances.

It's...just...too...much...

West Ham would comfortably be the best side in the Championship, likes of Bowen, Paqueta, Summerville and Soucek. They are a crap Premier League one but so were Leicester and they pout 6 past us last year.

Whatever team we pick and they pick we'll be big underdogs, we lost to Norwich last week so I do find peoples confidence quite amusing.

When was the last time we knocked out a top division club in the FA Cup?

The results are here but the club's divisions aren't noted: https://www.qprhistory.co.uk/a

They could do a Carol Vorderman and just go I'll take three players from the bottom row, four from the middle, two from the top and we'll play actual Harry Redknapp in midfield and I think they'd still take us 2-0.

Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

Or a Nuno second?

Aside from their debacle at Wolves they are playing ok-ish, just not getting results.

Even if you view our 3-0 win on Sunday as positive it was the latest in a string of very iffy performances. We are NOT playing well at all.

I reckon they play a strong team and swat us aside without breaking much sweat. Should they go for a weaker team we might be able to give them a game and it could get tetchy and nasty amongst the locals. I can't see point in them risking that.

It should be noted that The Premier League have free Saturdays for rounds 4 and 5 of the cup. This means the Hammers don't create a fixture pile up by beating us (but they would lose the ability to jet off to the Bahamas for some winter training that free weekend).

With out our injuries and habbit/addiction to picking a weakend team then i say no. It would be nice if we picked our strongest team and really went at them. A tight first half would heap pressure on them. If we pick a weak team then it's a pi ss take. Has anyone ever looked at the performances after losing a cup game with a weaker team ?? Bet it not great ?

Was just reading that under the lease that div Boris signed with West Ham their rent for London Stadium halves if they are relegated to just 2.5m a year with London taxpayers picking up the difference and paying for West Ham cock ups.

Come on Rangers!! Do it for the hard up tax payer - knock em out so they can focus on the league!

Redknapp's thrown his hat into the ring, saying he'd manage the Hammers "for nothing" .

We're officially in the silly season .

Weirdly on Boxing Day on ITV Racing he said he couldn't do it cos he goes racing every Saturday.

Then I remembered that every syllable that comes out of his mouth is bollocks

Found it - 2013. We beat WBA away in a replay, after which in true QPR style we were knocked out at home by L1 MK Dons.

Are we any good at judging other teams to know which West Ham we will face? I recall after the pre season game with Brentford, R's fans promising me Brentford would go down this season. Look how that is panning out. More chance of the Bees qualifying for the Champions League than going down. They have an uncanny knack of finding quality goalscorers and decent managers.
