ps: not a rumour (so apologies) and more an observation - did anyone see Zidane Iqbal for Iraq against France last night? Defensive midfielder, great tackler, but so calm and good on the ball considering he was up against some of the best players on the planet. From the Man U youth academy and born and raised in the UK. Anyway, the commentator said he was being released by Utrecht.
Don't have a clue how he performs in the Eredivise and maybe his wages are obscene but I wonder if he is someone we could look at?

Highly unlikely I would have thought, for all sorts of reasons.
I'd actually be quite annoyed if we committed what funds are left to another winger/ten type.
We've got Chair, Smyth, Vale, Poku, Dembele, Saito, Pearman, Bennie, Kolli and then behind them Sutton, Scarlett and in front of them Burrell, Kone, Obikwu.
That's some of our supposedly best development prospects, biggest investments. Unless there's somebody generally brilliant, why would we?
We need a GK and at least one CM.
