I have never seen so much about a player who has played so little for us.
I don't either QPR or Kolli are covering themselves in glory and the whole thing needs to be sorted by the end of the transfer window.

There is loads of stuff on X, looks like it has kicked off big time between Team Kolli and QPR.
QPR not faultless, but several senior players went to both JS and Nourry to complain about Kollis attitude in and to training/matchdays last season.
Interest in loan and permanent deals, Kolli not making it easy.
Relations between club and player representatives (his Dad?) are at rock bottom.
Who knows what is true and not, but he has got to go. As I said on another thread, he is no Bowles or Tarrabt who earnt the right to go maverick. |

Bennie and Lloyd going out (and the number 9 being unallocated) would 100% mean replacement(s) coming in.
Two things that can be guaranteed about this current cycle of QPR is that players-wise, we will never be "short of cover" and that there will be more players signed.

I get the impression it won’t necessarily be 4-4-2 even when they’re all available. Even when we go with two I can’t imagine they’ll want six ‘senior’ strikers on the books but are in a bit of a pickle with Obikwu perma-injured, the Kolli situation and probably thinking Lloyd isn’t quite up to it. Someone needs to leave to justify bringing another in and then there’s the silly money to buy or even loan a half-decent division two forward.
Also some other imperfect options. If Dembele (injured, naturally) is to ever make it I think it’ll be playing off of a striker rather than out wide. Ditto Poku. Smyth could do it if really necessary. Chair has been central in some of pre-season. Can get Bennie back in Jan if needed I believe. Personally cannot see Leyton Orient with Richie Wellens, who's no mug, at the helm viewing Alfie Lloyd as being of similar calibre to their last two main strikers: Kelman and Ballard. He would be right too, as Lloyd isn't.
They've received a lot of money for Ballard and I'm in no doubt that they'll be looking elsewhere. Perhaps as a back-up striker, but that would in all likelihood mean another loan. [Post edited 5 Aug 12:35]

He's apparently a great lad, and his attitude on the pitch is bang on, but is a player who would benefit from a 30 game season on loan in L1, knocking in the goals and continuing to develop, then come back next year full of confidence.
Him playing 20mins here and there for us for 10 games and then being called on to start 5 games in a row due to injuries, isn't likely to be a great outcome for anyone, certainly not if we want top 8. [Post edited 5 Aug 14:10]

Realistically is he going to make it with us? Even if he had a stand out season at Orient and got 20 goals ala Kelman, could you really see him leading the line for us? Agree he is a lovely lad and a great trier but the technical side of his game would need to improve considerably. Would be delighted to be proved wrong | | | |

I would not be surprised if they bring in at least one more forward regardless of someone leaving. I wouldn't be surprised if they bring in another midfielder or winger or defender, or if players in each position were to also leave.

Alfie needs a loan where he starts most games over a whole season: this didn’t happen at Orient or Lincoln so perhaps a League Two team would be a better option.
I’d rather he was on our bench as a late sub to run at a tiring defence rather than sit on another team’s bench again as that doesn’t benefit anyone. |  | | |

Agree its unlikely he will, but right now he's definitely not at the standard we need, but also has a low resale value, so take the Kelman scenario, at least if he did that he'd have a resale value, if we still felt he wasn't there.
