These players all seem to be guaranteed first team football at a lower level. At least we have given them a good grounding to get them started, while not hanging onto them unnecessarily. |
Wilke moving to Larne means he could play in Europe. They lost in the Champions League to Red Star, but are still in the Europa, or something like that.
Considering he was only in our DS for 12 months that's not bad. | |

No Larkeche even though Kemper is injured is interesting. If Kemper's injury is as bad as first thought then I'd have kept Larkeche until January, so maybe Kemper isn't too badly injured.

Sometimes loans are done to help a player put himself in the shop window. We've seen that with DS players on loan who then move on at the end of the season, sometimes to the clubs at which they were on loan.

Never been convinced that Morgan will get us to the next level. He’s a tidy player, but I think League 1 is his level. Kolli is an interesting one. Very inconsistent. He’s a match winner for sure. Think the likes of Burrell and Kone work harder and do more for the team. Maybe Obikwu is closer to the first team? Kolli is always being linked with moves. Maybe he needs a fresh start? I imagine it's all three. None are first choice, and if they can play 30 odd games, as you said, they're in the shop window, but their value should increase as well. | |

I’ve watched all the Wigan highlights and don’t think he’s been at fault for any of the goals conceded, but has made some good saves.
He does look incredibly low on confidence though, which is largely due to how we’ve mismanaged him. He’s young enough to come good but doubt he’ll ever be more than an average Championship gk. |  |

Disagree. He was nowhere for almost all their goals in their opening fixture. It was embarrassing.
And vs Villa he dives for the first shot like a granny, so slow, zero extension, zero reach. He kind goes through the motions like he's diving but it's for effect - it's long after the ball has passed him.
I think people are still misunderstanding my point - he's not 'at fault' - it's not a mistake. It's that he doesn't possess the innate ability to dive, rapidly and with agility, to make saves.
He's decent-ish in one on ones / blocks using his feet, but his shot stopping is almost non existent. With his hands he's very poor in every department.
He's got a goalkeepers kit but he isn't a goalkeeper.
Still Myke, despite all the visual and statistical evidence, would have still have him back in goal for Rangers it seems.
Someone better tell Pierce Charles he's not needed. | |
