Well done Clive. Really feel Walsh wasn’t at fault for the goal, from my position in the Stanley Stand the deflection up was pronounced. Saw Walsh making the point to everyone after the game. Paul Smyth was on fire, take him off at 3-0. Friends son put £1 on at 250/1 that we get in the playoffs.

Great report and pretty much how I saw the game.
This season reminds me of Warburtons first with us; lots of goals but defensively suspect.
However, where that team was reliant on Eze and packed full of loans, this lot are young and ours. They will only get better the more they play together and still with Madsen, Chair, Burrell and the Invisible Man from Coventry still to return next season.
For the first time in a really long time I could see a team starting to come together and playing good football. No wonder JS was happy.
Morgan and Madsen midfield next season could be good. | |

The disallowed goal really seemed to raise the crowd and the players.
Everything was quicker, even the throw ins which sometimes takes us an age to get on with.
Looking forward to Preston but I hope we approach the game with a slightly refreshed line up.
I know you should keep a winning team and all that but several times this season we’ve named an unchanged side 3/4 days after a very good performance and then put in a very flat performance. Last time was Hull away followed by Southampton iirc.
I guess Kolli may not make squad on Monday but I just hope we can use the squad a bit more and keep up the intensity. | | | |
