Think we need to calm down a bit here. Yes a shit way to lose and it was thrown away and gift wrapped for Derby. Makes zero difference to QPR though right?
Trying to feel some players back in, maybe too early for Burrell, but Chair and Madson clearly need games because they are well off the pace understandably given the time out for the former.
We obviously win that if there was something to play for but where we are means we can afford to experiment and make multple changes and give players a chance play. |
It makes a lot of difference to most of us. I don’t go along to help other teams out. We have young left and right backs who are way short of Championship standard. Not sure what Adamson got out of today. Bennie was having a great game, why sub him. | | | |

Livid we threw that game away Derby offered very little until the subs. Don’t want to knock the young lad but he should not have come on. Not sure about anyone else but I go to games to see us win and today at 2-1 we had them. Dev players on the pitch when ready he was not in the game and cost us 2 goals, but Clarke salter was awful get rid, I can’t talk about the ref he let a lot go then gave everything to Derby inconsistent ref decisions. I could not stay and clap the players at the end went home as did a lot of others. | | | |

On most stats we were the better team. Another game where we've had more possession and lost. We had loads of shots and their keeper made a number of good saves. Ref made some bizarre decisions in some key moments. Another day we could have won that 4 or 5-1. Substitutions killed us. Koki not up to it. Burrell hopefully more precautionary than a serious injury. Coming around to the idea we need 2 new keepers.
Positives - much much better from Morgan today and Vale was also much better. A bit better from Varane. Ronnie and JCS had decent games. Kone scored a deserved goal and worked hard again. Their CBs must have been delighted when he went off. Derby were pretty poor but took their chances. | | | |

I'm all for the youngsters playing, I thought Bennie and Morgan were the best players on the pitch and both will be in the squad next season.
But, why is Adamson even on the pitch? It's so disrespectful to those that pay to watch, he isn't even L1 standard. And it was obvious in pre season against Stevenage back in July.
Derby just destroyed him today.
I do get the impression that Stephan played him today to show Nourry what he has to work with.

The Subs and our failure to take chances killed that game for us.
I think a transfer for Adamson to Central Coast Mariners (à la Watford/Udinese) could be a wise move. He tries but he’s just not at the level.
I also thought Varane was his usual frustrating self. Dithers on the ball too often, and the propensity to pass backwards is well known. Hope we get a 2/3 mil offer for him.
Give me Field the Shield any day. We need some adults that know the Championship next year.
Morgan, Bennie, Vale, Kone and Smith played really well I thought.

Adamson was on the pitch as Mbengue was injured and we are somewhat light on full backs.
I remember now thinking it was a risky signing. I went to an A League game years ago and the standard was pretty good but there were many foreign players there. If anything the standard seems to have dropped out there so it was always going to be a big ask for Adamson. | | | |

No it seriously is not and we are far from a laughing stock of a club.
Blimey Damo. You dont half go all in when we mess things up.
This game for 75 minutes, we were quite brilliant and dominated the game, we had 22 shots 12 on target and they had had 2 shots and 1 on target.
Our approach play was very decent and realistically we could quite easily have been 4 - 1 or even 5 - 1 up.
We werent though. We messed things up, giving minutes to players long time out or one who was not the required quality but even then Derby 3 shots on target and 3 goals.
But not having it, we are a laughing stock of a club. There has been many positives this season and we are becoming decent but yes we still do have mishaps, like today. And no way are we league one bound as you say.
Was a better performance by us in 75 minutes than the 6- 1 win over Portsmouth. Mad saying that but definitely true from being at both games. [Post edited 25 Apr 18:30]
