You know what, we're not great, but we're not getting relegated, this season has had its bright spots. Honestly, resources-wise we're doing more or less what you'd expect. I'd rather be falling to 16th on the last Saturday of the season than sweating about avoiding the drop!
No point being so down and doomy about it! Could be much worse.


You might as well have Kane, Haaland, Saka, Rice, etc... playing for us. With this fitness team they'd still finish 16th.

I’m not saying it will be any different. Last 3 seasons (including this one), we’ve finished with 56 points, 56 points, and 58 points.

What I mean is, you can’t spend £25m over two seasons, make no big sales, see no progress on the points total, and tell us things are progressing. Next season, we need to be competing for the play offs, or making some big sales which enable us to invest in several very good players for this level so we are definitely in the play off hunt the year after and secure on PSR. If that doesn’t happen, there has to be accountability and people must be exited.

Absolutely this. Even if you take the whole CN / Bicycle Ben farce out of the equation something has been 'off' for years.

From a player / squad perspective, the recent stats says it all really. Even with the much lauded Field, Cook, Dunne in various match day line ups we still get bummed, we still concede 70 plus goals etc etc.

Terribly negative I know but can't see how next season will be any different unfortunately.

So yet again it seems we can "play" when teams allow us... but still nothing to worry Ipswich about

Just like The Wall .... Ipswich won this game in the first 20 mins and we never learned from the Wall game

Even if we had scored... I felt all Ipswich have to do is up the tempo and we would concede again. So get ready for a 2nd half of showboating by Ipswich... job well and truly done

Be another interesting summer... where are setting our sights for recruitment.... perhaps Papua New Guinea this time...
