We are abysmal in the first 10 minutes after half time. Whatever JS is doing at half time, it needs changing.

Smyth is the very obvious bright spark. Showing his pace. Being direct. Having a go. Breath of fresh air. The kids on Twitter who have a go at him don’t understand football if they think he’s a problem this club.


Makes you wonder why we signed both Saito and Poku when we already had Smyth who is better than both and usually available.

For mine, he should have reacted quicker to the shot from Smyth that was saved by their keeper. Greater anticipation was shown by their defender to clear the loose ball than his to score. That's poor.

A big error of last summer's transfer dealings was to sign too many lightweight wingers which has left the squad unbalanced and we didn't improve on the two wide men we had (Smyth & Chair).
