Count Binface came in seventh out if fourteen candidates and was not that far away from the lib dems and the greens.
Clearly there is a swing bin effect and we should prefer for the reign of Count Binface.
Its about time the country got real on the actual real issues facing Britons today.

I noticed that Count B's Makerfield manifesto retained the commitment to move the hand dryer in the Crown and Treaty to a more sensible position from when he ran in Uxbridge.
You rarely see that sort of consistency in politics these days.

I got the impression the presenter didn't care much for the reporter and she greatly enjoyed seeing him squirm.

Seems incredulous that it cannot be treated as a 'nuisance', or 'breach of the peace', or dealt with under the myriad of laws that are now in place to stifle protest.

I don't know if social media has accelerated it or it's always been there but hidden because there were few platforms other than down the pub to present it to but people have become absolute immature dickwads over the last decade or so.
I had an altercation with another dog walker last week because I lost balance and fell off my bicycle because my dog decided to go chase a squirrel in the other direction and it threw me off. She started taking photos of me and saying I should be walking the dog, not cycling with it (I'm totally aware of all the pro's & con's and things to be mindful of to ensure the dogs safety and always go at his pace, not mine). I asked her if she was taking photo's of me and she (a late 60's/early 70's woman) immediately started waving her arms in the air sarcastically saying "oooh, oooh, oooh, I am allowed to take pictures you know". Talk about immature response, lost any credibility in trying to have an adult conversation.
And I take these points back to politics.... I am utterly sick and tired of the general populace being more concerned about how they look, how they dress and all the other popularity stuff and so on. I couldn't give a fk. I'm more interested in them running the country properly.

I'll admit to being as critical as any about Starmer yet felt a bit sad watching his speech. Politics is a different beast to the old days and I feel Starmer may have done OK in say, the fifties. As stated, the electorate has changed. Was it Harold Wilson that said we don't need a change of government but a change of electorate.

He was a man without a plan ...just a bunch of hollow cliches delivered woodenly. As a result he seemed to be more comfortable at overseas meetings and conferences. And most of his front bench lacking any sort of calibre or conviction, cut in his cloth. Don't know what Burnham stands for (does anyone) but he'll be going some to do worse.
Thought Streeting could've been good but seems he's paved the way for the 'king of the north'.
I too felt sad watching Starmer's speech. An honourable man who got pushed out for being too beige. Beige is good in a prime minister. But in this media-dominated age you have to be Mr Toad, Billy Bunter or Arthur Daly to "cut through".

Still, I'm not sure Andy Burnham just waltzing in and declaring himself prime minister is the answer. I can see my tax bill going up to give even more to people who already have more disposable income than me despite never working a day in their lives. Joy.
