I think the problem is also the two man midfield. Very often there is a lot of space between Varane and Kamara so if you get in behind one of them we are bang in trouble. |  | | |

I think the concerning thing for me was that we stopped everything we were doing well because of a breakaway goal. Our belief, our energy, our tempo, our composure. Gone.
We know that we leaked experience and leaders in the last year, but that should not happen.
If we get back to the plan, we should still win this. |  |

I did say a few games ago that we have hugely improved our squad from where it was two or three years ago. That should enable us to comfortably tread water in mid table. Any idea that this squad is good enough for the top 6 or even the top 8 is for the birds. | |
