| Kolli 19:34 - Jan 11 with 5787 views | WestbourneR | Showed he has what it takes again today, I felt. Really impressive from a 20 year old. Super sharp touch, great one touch link play and he's so strong. Interesting to see which players looked comfortable at that level generally. Sadly Kone looked out of his depth all game. Thought Dunne did well but then go horribly exposed by Summerville for their second. For me Madsen looks like a Premership class centre mid. Stood out all game as our Rolls Royce player. Smyth was the big surprise IMO. Really held his own. Was pretty magnificent. | |

| Kolli on 20:13 - Jan 11 with 3091 views | PhilmyRs | I see where you’re coming from and agree to an extent, definitely interesting to see who looks more at home at the level. Felt Smyth offered a lot but a few times pinged into him second half where he needed to look after the ball and he was found wanting a bit and we got lucky which to me shows why he won’t play at the highest level but more than decent for us. I thought Madsen, Dunne, the left back and agree on Kolli, all looked decent but would throw in Isac as well who I felt had a solid game in the middle of the park without the ball at least. Based purely on today and who I think could cut it playing premier league, it would be Dunne, possibly the left back and Madsen and Kolli has potential which may get him there. I didn’t see it from others sadly but a few people out injured that I also think have a chance and would have been good to see them against this opposition. | | | |
| Kolli on 20:18 - Jan 11 with 3032 views | RsinWales | I also thought Kolli was great. Looked very much at home at that level. Dunne was outstanding and gave a real captain's performance. Smyth looked lively, but got bundled over every time he got into his stride. They clearly did not like his pace. Special mention to the three young subs who also did well when they came on. | | | |
| Kolli on 20:26 - Jan 11 with 2953 views | Hunterhoop | Kolli stood out to me. He had the touch and technical ability to make it in the Prem. Today was a big moment for him and the club. He showed he has it. At 20, he is a serious asset for the club, especially in our player trading/amortisation model. Regardless of whether Koki is here, we need to be playing Kolli week in week out. He needs games, experience and nurturing. If he played most of next season and picked up 10 goals and 5-6 assists, at 21, we’d be looking at 10-20m in the current market for him. Lots of “ifs” there, but we have to try to make that happen. Egos need parking and pride swallowing for the good of the club. [Post edited 11 Jan 20:28]

Yeah, apart from when he scored with his shoulder, he was poor. Kolli, Madsen and Dunne looked the part. Hayden put in lots of good tackles.

| Kolli on 20:48 - Jan 11 with 2757 views | numptydumpty | He is still young. He is unconventional and difficult for defenders to contain. He has pace, heck of a shot, and an asset in defence also. With a run of games ahead of him, we will see how far he has come or not, as the case may be. Does make these last few months were Michi Frey has been keeping Kolli out of the matchday squad as Frey has sadly limped across the pitch with little threat. Guess we will never truly know all the reasons for his non selection, but he still has to maintain form across a majority of games, which is what he has so far failed to do. Hopefully this is a massive confidence booster without causing him to be overconfident. Totally also one of our own - here as an 8 year old !!!! | |

Is this the name facts about Richard Kone game? None of them change the fact he was poor today and struggled.

The bloke scored. Most of our players would not have done from that position. And for me was also fine. He is a centre forward and last time I looked the only play that counts for anything is goals scored. Many strikers dont do anything but put the ball in the back of the net. Some are working their socks off but score four goals a season. Ask yourself a question Lyndon Dykes / Sinclair Armstrong / Richard Kone ??? Harsh in the extreme, I would say.... And not so long ago we didnt have any strikers of our own, we relied on loans. Kone is quite an upgrade on the 'strikers' recently sold.

Ok so the metric now is - is he better than Sinclair Armstrong and Lyndon Dykes? Of course he is. But he was still poor today. Not sure why it’s such an outrageous thing to say. He actually missed the header and scored with his shoulder so he was quite lucky it went in. He’s generally been poor in the air. His heading needs serious work. He can still be a good player for us. Whether he can be very good is yet to be established. I really hope he can. The player I saw play vs Wrexham looked very exciting.

Really don’t think that is the case. He’s widely considered a nice lad. And after the incident with you know who at the training ground several of the players consoled him when he was visibly upset.

The Rangers players were also fully congratulating, hugging, and high-fiving Kolli after the game last week. Player by player. He’s an extremely down to earth lad, and unfortunately, it’s posts like this that start unnecessary rumours. What is true, is that in the heat of the moment, players frequently get moody with one another, happens every game if you watch closely. Also happens at every Sunday league pitch every weekend but doesn’t mean you aren’t friendly with your team mates off the pitch. [Post edited 11 Jan 22:35]

Okay, that's good to know. I think he works hard and his manner doesn't seem to be arrogant or anything like that. I don't have the inside track, so that is good to hear. His team mates do just seen more annoyed with him than I've seen in many other interactions. Morgan was definitely happy when he scored last week, and their celebration seemed very genuine. Not sure who you know who is, though.

| Kolli on 23:44 - Jan 11 with 1787 views | californiahoop | Yes to all of this but, it’s easy to forget, Kone is only 22 and, has just stepped up to the Champ after little time in the professional game. Think Kone will be a better player next season, we need a CF to take the weight off of him for now. | | | |
