Then lets hope Mr Williams will not persevere with his weird slow conditioning thingy which is apparently meant to get the team fully fit by about Nov or whenever it is. If ever there was a season to hit the ground running it is surely this (given the kind fixture list, the importance of shaking off the poor end to last season etc).

If there are more than two serious injuries before Xmas then I'm confident Nourry will find a new scapegoat to run the fitness and keep Williams clean, to look after the canteen and grass problems

When did we last start a season like a bull breaking into a field full of cows? The Warnock season the only one that springs to mind really although Snakeboy had us up there I suppose.
Every season seems tougher than the last but we simply cannot afford to get off to a poor start this season.
How people on the fitness side of the club have kept their jobs is a mystery.... or is it?

In defence of QPR/Stephan I am pretty certain we were in the play-offs prior to one of last season's international breaks.
