It’s weird, I’d almost forgotten it was Edwards playing there. A centre half by trade, braking up play and popping the ball about, often forwards, he didn’t put a foot wrong.

I tend to disagree. Look, not wanting to pick a fight or anything, but a centre midfielder he ain't (yet). I think he slows down the play and often lunges into challenges (often effectively, but the one time?). Get him back in defence, allow the Madsen, Vale, Camara triumverate to develop and we have a great team. Everything needs finetuning but it all looks good... be.more.clinical |  | | |

I can see him back in central defence. Jake will need to be managed with his injury record but great option to have .

I think he swept up and 'moved it through the thirds' at least as well as any attacking player would have. I'm not even sure he misplaced a pass, yet was always progressive. | | | |

I guess I might be in a minority but I don't think it works as well as having Madsen in there. I would prefer Ronnie to drop back to centre half. He played OK IMO but when Madsen is ready to start, he goes in there for me. Also Kamara starts when able to do so based on what I've seen so far. |  |

Edwards was MoM today, but Bolton weren't very good once Gale was snuffed out by Poku and Mbengue doubling up on him.
They need Cozier-Duberry on loan again; no chance of that, as his stock is super high now. |  |
