Tempting fate, I know but we should fancy our chances

At home - tick

Very winnable game but we cannot underestimate Sunderland.

We’ve avoided all the big guns so that’s a real bonus.

Jeez.

We Are QPR.

Beat the Prem team; banana skin at home to a lower league team...

Last 8 though, Isn't it. Hmmm? Jumpers for Goalposts. 1967 and all that????

We've had a Carlsberg there.

The mirror opposite of that bastard cup draw in 1995

Theyll bring a few and make hell of a noise, great atmosphere again.

It's being so happy that keeps me going.

You’d prefer Man City? Arsenal Chelsea? Liverpool? Tottenham?

No thanks, not this round at least.

Suspect this one will be a full house.

Packed house under the lights. Perhaps a bit of rain coming down. Crowd in full voice. Proper cup tie this. Can't wait

Right, but we have to win it.

They're second in League One and will bring a huge crowd.
Our cup record is awful.

We need to approach this for what it is - a Quarter Final place for the team that works harder, and works smarter.

Otherwise, we all know how it could end.
We've all been there before.

Best thing Harry has ever done for us.

Hate tempting fate, but starting to feel like it’s our year

First and foremost, a home draw is great news given that QPR have a Championship game just a few days later. With all due respect to Sunderland, it also presents MW with another opportunity to utilise the squad. Most importantly, it's a great opportunity for this group of players to go deep into a cup competition.

I am happy enough with that draw, just wonder how Sunderland feel about it though? Long trip, but may also fancy their chances as well. To be fair we seem to play better against better opposition and struggle a little with the more physical sides. You can sure that they will be up for it and put out their strongest team as well, so maybe a tougher game than we'd think.

Never knowingly understood

Sunderland are no mugs andare 3rd in Div 1 for a reason. Although they do think we only had De Wijs missing from our first team against Everton.

Hopefully another cracking game and atmosphere under the lights at the KPF stadium… I would have loved a big prem team away but it wasn’t to be this time.

Brilliant tie.

Sunderland will be well up for it though so we need to match their enthusiasm and put our best team out, or a minimal number of changes.

I suppose Sunderland did win 3-2 at Blackpool in the second round so they could cause us bother but on the other hand they lost at Burton.

We need to motivate ourselves that there is every chance we will be the last Championship team left in the Cup which probably hasn't happened before. It is also highly likely that we will get one of the big clubs next time.
