Am going to this game today Bosh
Last season I deluded believed we would win promotion and the Man Utd friendly confirmed beliefs.
This year I think we made some decent signings so far and am hopeful for Beale but strangely despite probably better signings this pre season so far - am aware I not seem the new boys play - but from the vibes - we will probably do better than i expect.

Buts its a friendly, so could be 8-2 or more likely 2-8!

I've asked before Paul, but you didn't reply. As a match official are you allowed to place a bet on football? If so, what level do you have to reach to be barred by the FA from betting?
I ask because any player, official or even volunteer of a step 10 (level 6) club faces a long suspension if found to have placed a football bet. This includes the groundsman & collecting entrance money!
Clubs that play at this level in the Combined Counties League include Bagshot & Rayners Lane. This is one step below Bedfont & Hillingdon Borough. [Post edited 23 Jul 2022 14:32]

Don't think I would be able to on the odd game I do where betting is in place though.
Edit - I didn't answer the first part - Level 4 and below, you CAN bet as long as you're not involved in the match.

But JoJo has pressed on the edge of their box now as they try to play out from the back, so once again it's fluid, it seems.

Club officials & players at low levels have been banned in the past for placing a bet at Ladbrooks, Corals etc! Not that this stopped people I know! | | | |
