Really. I must have watched a different game. How many times did they kick the ball straight into touch? When we were pinging it about, at times, they couldn't get near us. Their solution to going behind was to bring more giants on and sling in crosses which were mostly defended well.
We really should have been at least one up at ht and 4-0 or 4-1 wouldn't have flattered us. They only really had us worried that once. | | | |

For what it's worth, looking at a Millwall forum they certainly don't agree with Rowett's view on the game.
Apparently his subs were a particular point of contention. Definitely frustration among the Wall fans directed at the players and manger. |  | | |

Stats really don't reflect the reality of that game at all - shots 12/13 off target and 4/4 on, corners 5/4. Very surprised to see Millwall's possession at 58%.

I'm glad we have a manager who actually tells it like it is, unlike the ridiculously myopic Roett and the ultimately cliche-ridden/platitudinous Warburton (who, I note, has now virtually patented in interviews his 'idee fixe' that our end-of season delcine was anything between 4, 6 and 8 weeks). Yes I know we're a pessimistic bunch on there, but everyone broadly agreed it was pretty even up to that point - we created the better chances - such as they were - but they had a more possession/territory if you like. | | | |

In response to the OP, I don't think my pre match concerns were specifically about Millwall but more our general performances in all our away London fixtures like regularly conceding three at Brentford and Fulham. Happy to see a positive away London performance last night. |  | | |
