He may be financially OK, but he's never looked comfortable or happy on or off the pitch – has anyone ever seen him smiling? I dunno mate. Isn’t it just part and parcel of that only ‘1 in 4’ players that pass through a club turn out to be a success? Made to look worse in this case because he has three different nationalities and therefore access to international markets not normally accessible?
Of course, bent transfers is a whole different thing but not really his fault of true.
That young lad we had for years (Doughty?) had a similar path and time with us I think but didn’t get the same stick.

Fair play to him, he’s travelled the world playing professional football in some lovely places and got to pull on the QPR shirt many times, despite being a bit sh*t. Never moaned or acted up, in fact managed to do all this with precisely zero media profile at all. I’m quite intrigued what a Finnish American Londoner sounds like but can’t recall ever hearing him speak
