Just need DannyPaddox to do a mock up of the Wickers World credits with Travelman’s face photoshopped in!
When they say ‘contract terminated by mutual consent’ does that mean that after a brief look back at his QPR career, Nico agreed that he had actually rinsed the club as much as he could and that it was time to move on?
I’ve got a tenner on Dinamo Samarkand at 7/2 for Nico’s next port of call.

Glad he's gone, clearly not good enough for the Championship.
I know we mock his constant loans but hasn't that saved the club a lot of money on wages. Wages which I assume were fairly minimal anyway, so I'm not sure he was a huge drain on the club financially (relative to other players obviously, we'd probably all be happy earning what he was on)

Such a curious timeline with this kid. I mean obviously they must have seen something in him to give him a 4-year contract after failing to break through. It felt fairly obvious that although God loves a trier that he was never really up to this level. Very weird.

Agree but 33 consecutive appearances, where he played every minute for Kilmarnock in the SPL and cups. 12 Full caps for Finland only 4 of those in friendlies. He has talent but like many can't develop it to the Championship or the rest of his international loans.

The awful 4 year extension was dished out literally whilst we were amidst Bright running down his contract and on the verge of leaving for nothing, for which the DoF received a lot of venom. It was also during Eze's meteoric rise. You can see why they panicked with young development players' contracts. It was a huge error in judgment though and he was 23 when he signed it. Most people could have predicted exactly how those next 3 years did eventually pan out.

Someone says here he couldn't, but Nico could in fact pass/ cross with his left leg ok and position himself reasonably well as a LWB. He did that well enough to play for Finland. It was the rest of his game, particularly his seemingly defensive lack of awareness of dangerous situations that was lacking. Wish him all the best.

Can I have his agent pimp out my specialised services !!
Guy's a genius !!
Probably on at least 3 grand a week at end and probably decent salary for eight consecutive years.
Experienced a few different cultures and probably had choice of young ladies due to his ever expanding wallet and at a time of young adulthood with zero responsibilities sounds like a pretty awesome gig to me.
Must have accumulated way more dosh than any of his mates from his school days and stress levels pretty low because he really hasn't had to do anything at all.
Never been a victim of the boo boys because he has never been on show to be booed ..
It's all been very decent of QPR football club to sponsor this young man in his early adulthood life experiences and something he can one day look on with pride as a time well spent.
How can you apply ???
My interest is certainly piqued, if that is indeed a word !!!
Mate he was shite .....timid , could not pass , could not cross need I go on....you can't polish a turd sorry. Awful player.
"You can't polish a turd sorry". You actually can, but I take your point
Apologies to anyone eating their lunch!
"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

I’d love to know the story behind this. Rich friend of dad’s?
From what little digging I've done, Textor founded an academy called FC Florida, that Travelman came through as a kid.
A look through their alumni and it's basically players that play/have played for Textor's teams.
My hugely cynical side guesses that anyone who has graduated and turned professional is being looked after by him to promote the academy as a route for youngsters who want to get into college-level across the states or who have the deemed ability to turn pro.
Could just be a massive PR exercise for his academy.
Bunging sub-par players a quarter of a million a year is probably worth it for him in the long-run.

Last day of the month. At what hour of the day can we relax in the knowledge Balogun hasn't been offered a new contract ? It's making my irritable bowel play up something chronic.
