Yep good effort but I'm annoyed that I missed out. I had this pencilled in for a while and then got busy this week so I've missed them going on sale.
I get updates from the club on whatsapp and just saw the sold out announcement, but there doesn't seem to be any announcement via that medium of tix going on sale.
Aside from looking up the club ticketing page, what are people using to get notifications of tix going on sale? Twitter is not an option :) |  | | |

My sons usually send me a screen shot as soon as it’s announced, I then set an alarm for two minutes before my loyalty points window kicks in.

FYI - Not much in the way of watering holes near the ground now days with a few old pubs now closed. Would suggest those attending to head to Blackheath or Greenwich before the game and jumping on the train to Charlton.
The Pilot near the O2 is also a good shout if coming by the Jubilee line, it is a short bus trip to Charlton or a lengthy walk from there |  | | |

You can say there's loads to play for (there always is until you're safe) because we're only 3 points off the playoffs with 18 to go. But...
There are also five teams between us and 6th - not to mention ten points between us and 3rd, and all the top three have absolutely spanked us, showing how far we are off being promotion-material.
Which is fine. I'm enjoying the season, mostly. We're a 12th placed team and that feels about right on form.
Fully fit top scorer, Chair and Saito with wind in their sails, midfield clicking, then maybe yeah, all to play for. Preston will drop out of the six...Just doesn't feel like kind of season for us, not with our best attacking players injured for a while.

I've done this route a few times, starting at the Pilot and then walking down the river (often with a tinnie for the walk) down to the Anchor and Hope which is a lovely little boozer on the river. Perfect when the weather is nice. Unfortunately got roped into the bloody boat this time, down the Thames in the pissing February rain. Dreading it to be honest. |  | | |
