Good move, a position that needed filling by somebody with the right kind of background. Well done QPR - on to the next job!

He's from Baltimore - Awesome!

Sounds ok to me. We seem to be going in the right direction.
Lets hope we finally get rid of the "big spending QPR"tag,and start doing things properly.

I struggle to see how any of us can criticise this! On the face of it, this is exactly what we wanted!!

Very happy with the re structure in place. There actually appears to be a plan.

Hopefully this reduces/removes the need for TF's involvement in club or playing matters. The bloke is a liability.

On the face of it he sounds great. Everything in that interview on the Burnley site is what we've needed here for ages. Hope it goes well.

Careful, Clive.

Optimism = Hope
...and we all know where that takes us!

Can we go out yet?

Lots on his ethos and how he goes about it here...

There's at least a couple of things in there that must have, or should have, caught TF's attention:

- Big emphasis on sports science and how that contributed to helping prevent injuries at Burnley.
- Being careful which players you don't bring in because you can never get rid of them.

God, he's worked for some right loons hasn't he? Al Fayed, Rupert Lowe, Mandaric; must be a glutton for punishment.

Just as well, really.

When all the waster players are gone this summer, the headline banner can be;

"Hoos let the dogs out"

...coat...

And when he gets stitched up by the "Fake Sheikh" and is photographed sitting by a table riddled with cocaine the headline will be;

"Hoos line is it anyway?"

I'm here until we get relegated again...

If Fernandes gets caught with him the headline will be -

" Hoos, Tone, we have a problem."

Very good.

Or if we sign a player from Palace:

"Hoos, Tone, the Eagle has landed."

He's a guy with a proper track record of knowing what he's doing in the position to which he's been appointed. So he's pretty unique at QPR at the moment.

A person coming to QPR who knows what he's doing ? That's got to be a first. Can't see him fitting in somehow.

There aint half been some clever bastards.

Quickly drag him down to our level I'm sure. He'll be signing off on four year contracts for illegal immigrants with long standing knee problems in no time at all.

FIFA needs to step in and take a look at expensive weddings.

Yeah, see what he's done is to use his father-in-law's billions to get himself the most expensive wedding in history. In other words, they cheated. And they cheated by an enormous amount of money.

If Fernandes gets caught with him the headline will be -

" Hoos, Tone, we have a problem."

And if our new CEO then falls into a coma due to the stress of the false allegations against him and then suddenly awakes 3 months later, above the photo of him in his hospital bed (probably the photoshopped one with him in his suit and tie) the headline will read;

"Look Hoos Talking!".

I've got the Power.

Love the comments from Burnley fans earlier in this thread.
As if there's a football fan of any club that goes around going: 'Do you know what, there are a lot of things wrong with our club - but boy does our CEO put in the hours and do some sterling work!'
He'll be, rightly or wrongly, despised within 4 months by one group or another for some perceived slight or other.

Bare bones.

Hoos told Rangers’ website he was “excited about working for QPR and added: “This is a challenge, but one I’m going to relish.” He then stumbled back and had to be helped into his seat as he began crying "Fu*k, f*ck, what have I done?"

Never knowingly right.
