| The Queens Park Rangers v Watford Thread on 16:56 - Nov 21 by HantsR | That wasn't too bad a game you know. Could have won it but some good patches of play and good attitude from the team. |
Only watched the last hour, and I gather we weren't great if the first thirty, but in the time I watched we seemed definitely the better team

IMO he has had a great game apart from giving away possession once before they scored.

Against an expensively assembled squad too. Good to see our heads not dropping after that daft early goal we conceded

But we sorted that out and by any objective analysis we were the better side and dominated long periods of the game, especially second half. We had two scrambled off the line, should have had a pen for the pull on Barbet, Masterson hit the top of the bar, and we scored an absolutely brilliant goal. I thought we played really well. The post saying Carroll is appalling is flabbergasting. He's a good player and he played some tremendous passes today. Had a great game all round. Everyone played well, actually. I thought Kane was really good, so was Cameron. Bright very good. Chair very good. Really encouraging performance - one really poor air shot from Masterson, and some dodgy finishing my only real criticisms.

We wasnt great in the first 3 , apart from that we went toe to toe with an ex prem side with a big squad who were 2nd in the table .

Unlucky not to get a pen. Lovely goal. LTC playing deeper (and Ball further forward) worked well. Good use of subs. Pleased for Ilias for the goal and for Lyndon for the assist. As always with this team, though, we have to work so hard to score excellent goals, and yet the opposition always get easy or sloppy ones. Good point in the end.
| The Queens Park Rangers v Watford Thread on 17:03 - Nov 21 with 1441 views | HAYESBOY | On play, we were the better team. How that is a foul by Barbet when his shirt is nearly ripped off him. It s a pen all day long. Thought the ref got a lot of big decisions wrong today. Think we should have had one first half as well on Dom Ball when he goes to shoot and Chalobah stick his studs up to block. Anywhere else on the pitch that's a free kick. Actually gives it against Ball. Thought we played well today but why did we not start Willock? | |

I think it was a lot to do with conceding so early and unnecessarily. Took a while to get over but did well after that. Good performances all over the pitch. Only Adomah fluffed his lines a little.

But by the end of the game I thought we were totally outplaying them and definitely deserved all three.

Can only assume he saw a block/obstruction by Cameron in the build up. I was pleased however, a good performance

| The Queens Park Rangers v Watford Thread on 17:07 - Nov 21 with 1352 views | Nushnool | Carroll did more good than bad, I thought. A fair few passes went astray, but I thought that was reflective of him getting on the ball more and trying to make things happen. Thought Kane was good too. A pleasing second half overall, topped by a nice goal. | | | |

Agree with all that, except BOS 'very good' - not awful but not very good for me.

I know we're all going to argue and discuss team selections, but with 12 games in 35 days or whatever it is, all those right on the edge of the team, like Willock, are going to get starts. He's going to have to seriously rotate, and very carefully. Having said that, I'd be disappointed if he didn't start on Tuesday!

beat his man 90% of the time - ok maybe end product not quite there, but their left back had a torrid time. Thought he worked really hard too. Maybe very good overstating it, but i'd still give him a 7.
