That goal was something special he was celebrating as it left his foot. Almost rewarded with an assist for his closing down lead to the Dykes miss. | |

It does seem like he ups his performance when Willock is on the pitch .
He's a great little player but some of the concerns last season and earlier in this one were legit.
He's still not the finished article but if he continues this type of form week in and out we've got ourselves a gem. |  |

I agree he has always worked hard. But I also think he has increased his intensity.
Maybe not a big difference in the mileage covered but he definitely is doing more short sprints when closing down this year. And he follows the pass often back to pressure the keeper with intense sprints

I think they've all increased their intensity, and their physicality as well.
We tackle in twos and threes now and we're not afraid of putting the body into the tackle as well, not just dipping an apologetic toe.
I said on the match thread last night that it was a joy to watch. We're used to being a soft touch for many of the seasons at the Bush. Would be nice if that changed permanently. | |
