To me this game screams banana skin, but I think we will play well and I believe with 2000 Rs in attendance could actually be a memorable performance. A three nil win away from home. Frey, Field and Chair on target for the rampant superhoops !!!

I would suggest the landmine would come off worse

Totally. Before the game, I was concerned but they were good. Plymouth were poor though. Excellent headed clearances by Dunne towards the end, which I suspect your typical right-back may not have had the wherewithal to take up such positions. Rayan Kolli, what a finish, class personified, you don't teach that. Well done, young man. [Post edited 18 Jan 14:40]

Need to develop into a more clinical side before we can realistically think about troubling the top 6. Not just missed chances but the amount of times we are in really good attacking positions and then mess it up. Edwards and Fox excellent, but highlight for me was Kolli’s finish - such a natural finisher. Him and Morgan showing all their talent again. Enjoy the good times, and remember where we were in November!

Plymouth were poor but I feel like we've said that about a lot of teams this season (and I'm sure several have said it about us). That's the standard in the bottom half of this division and I'm glad we are raising our performance above it. Get in there Rangers.

Plymouth Match Thread - Post Captain Pugwash !! on 14:40 - Jan 18 with 2487 views | baz_qpr | Great result, much harder than it needed to be, sinking to their level at times but just a bit better. Another day that is 0-0 but it was a bit of class from Kolli that makes the difference. 6/10 for everyone bar Kolli and head and shoulders MOTM Jimmy Dunne. Colback very off the pace still. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Jimmy settled everyone down at the back, helped Edwards in particular to have Dunne there and Fox on the other side. PayPaal largely negated Whittaker too. The hashed together highlights that sometimes follow the stream showed 10:1 chances in our favour. We should have taken at least one of the Frey opportunities and possibly the Edward’s header and/or Field shot. 3 points is a big deal though with Hull in a few days. We can play that game in the right frame of mind and with the right resources to select from.

Plymouth Match Thread - Post Captain Pugwash !! on 14:42 - Jan 18 with 2398 views | mart_Goblin | Get in there . Huge win what with other results today already . The bottom is going to get really close with maybe the exception of Plymouth . They look done at the moment . So many chances that I thought a repeat of last season might happen, but we looked strong and solid and maybe last Saturday can be put to bed . Back 4 were fantastic today . Nardi didn’t make a save but Big Jimmy is just a colossus again. Liked Morgan again today . Chair improving steadily and lovely little finish by Kolli. Lots to learn , including me arranging a meeting with my landlord at 1pm, and improve on but some really good signs . Come on you Supa!!!!

Pick 4/6/8 or 10 weeks and we're either 1st or 2nd. Niiiiice https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/championship/form-guide/four Nice to finally grind out a win against them. Frey and Chair still need to sharpen up their killer instinct but Kolli showed them how to do it. So pleased for him.

Not sure why you picked Colback out: he’s hardly played any minutes since a long term injury and was brought on to replace the booked Varane and solidify the midfield which he did fine at.

good win, created a lot but only scored one. 3 points and a clean sheet - you gotta be happy with that
Plymouth Match Thread - Post Captain Pugwash !! on 15:00 - Jan 18 with 1827 views | DWQPR | Well that was a 1-0 thrashing if ever I saw one. But for their keeper we would have had 4 or 5 plus Field missing that one at the end. Very poor Plymouth side, producing the sort of performance that we would normally turn in at home with a 12.30 kick off. Top half of the table and six points from the play offs. This has been some turnaround, initially we did look fragile at the start of this run, excluding a couple of performances but now we are starting to look like a team to be reckoned with. Don’t think anyone had a poor game today. Well done R’s!

Plymouth Match Thread - Post Captain Pugwash !! on 14:29 - Jan 18 by Ned_Kennedys | Nice win Rangers, by far the better team and although we missed a lot of chances it’s good we created so many of them in the first place. The back four were excellent today: Nardi didn’t have a save to make. Dunne MOTM for me ahead of Kolli, Edwards and Fox. |
That's the best thing about today; the chances. Usually we make 1 or 2, today 4 nil would not have flattered us. Very surprised as to how well the back line played, but they had some great protection in midfield again today.

Field had the entire net to aim for and missed but luckily it did not cost us.The QPR fans started to celebrate when it left his boot but hands on heads followed . I think Marti has figured out when to bring on Alfie he terrifies defenders without doing much just running around with the ball have to love it . We still struggle to go up 2 or 3 but it will happen eventually. All together now last saturday is erased from our memories

We have progressed now that even when we win we know can can do more. Should have won by more today and left the possibility of that typical late equaliser ruining if for us. We stood firm. Thought our second choice CB pairing were solid today. Who would have thought 12 games ago it would read Played 12 Won 7 Drawn 4 Lost 1

Kolli is really mobile and Frey moves better than I expected him to. Creates a lot of opportunities not just for them, but also for the other attacking players
