I’ve never known a year where we are heading nearly to mid June and the club have announced one pre season game for the summer. The players I imagine are going to be back in 2 weeks and we don’t know who the manager is, who we are playing for pre season, the new coach whoever it is will literally be coming in starting completely afresh with no time to look at the squad and prepare for pre season. Surely the new manager will want his own players for his style of football? Why is the recruitment process of a new manager taking so long?

Agree, it's mad.

No kit, no manager, no preseason. We don't even know whether a lot of the players from last season will be here let alone any new ones. In fact we don't even know what's happening to last season's manager. It's unacceptable.

Again, why that, or something else (we’re not just going to be playing one friendly are we?) has not been announced is anybody’s guess. There’s no “competitive advantage” to be gained by keeping your bloody friendlies secret is there?

Given our muscle injury record perhaps a truncated pre-season isn't a bad idea, considering some of our players get injured at a desk renewing their contracts.

That sucks if Heerenveen is confirmed. My best friend here in denmark was Dutch and a lifelong fan. Died 6 months ago in a road accident. It would have been a great trip over for us 😔
