The amount this kid is spoken about is nuts.
He's played 35 games and scored 5 goals with 2 assists.

How many minutes has he played?

a bit of context to those numbers

He's only started 12 games and in those 12 starts he has scored 3 goals, thats one less than Richard Kone who has started 11 games

He also has 3 goals coming off the bench

He has only started more than 2 games in a row once which was last season when he started 5 games in a row scoring once although we only lost 1 of those 5

He's spoken about a lot as he is one of our own development players and as we are supposed to be a club developing players from the academy he should be the poster boy for the club rather than not even on the bench whilst Michael Frey waddles around

Cheers Dave.

And going on the goals he's scored, he feels to me like one of the more natural finishers at the club.

He has posted a statement on his Instagram stories that I am trying to upload here.

Talking about issues with the National Team, he doesn't want to leave QPR. The manager has decisions to make regarding the team and he has to respect that whether he agrees or not. Will keep working hard to get back in the team

Final bit is about his fathers' 'contributions' and that of his representatives

It's sad, but if a footballer is having to release a statement like that age 20, then perhaps he is being badly advised and has got the wrong people around him.
I've got some sympathy with the club on this.

Poll: How is Nourry cooking so far ? 🤣

That seems to contradict what his own father had recently posted…..
He needs to do his talking on the pitch but first he needs to convince Stéphan he deserves to be in the squad.

Well from today's outpourings we've learnt that the contract he signed in January is for 4 years.

Seems pretty obvious we need an alternative to Frey from the bench

Not read the postings in full, only what’s been posted on this thread but it doesn’t feel like this will do him any favours .
I think he’s been treated poorly, but you have to try and learn to be professional and hope that you get your chance , then take it .

This will only annoy the CEO further I’d think

I don't know yet if Kolli has what it takes, and I agree with others that he appears to be badly advised, but yet again when this club encounters anything outside the ordinary its handling of it is poor and smacks of arrogance and inexperience. This could all be dealt with inhouse in a mature way that would avoid all this nonsense.

The best summary so far IMO.

Well true, but some football parents don't help matters much either (seemingly regardless of the player's age...).

It can't be easy to deal with "inhouse" with both Kolli and his Dad repeatedly posting "statements" on social media, and those contradictory.

He's done it because he and his family are taking pelters from dickheads who hide behind a keyboard.
I think it was quite mature for a 20 year old to come out and talk to this, adding context regarding his dad and saying he's gonna continue to work hard to work his way into the managers plans. Shows how much he wants to succeed here.

Give the lad a break, he's only doing his best by his family and our team. He certainly ain't bitching on the latter which dispels a load of the shtie some have written and are probably sadly reading on Musk's rag.

I don't see how it is anything but easy.

The father has nothing to do with them and should be ignored. Do clubs now get to control what all family members of adult players think and say?

The player has just issued a highly commendable statement, re-affirming his dedication to the cause. He has shown respect and, in return, should be treated with equal respect.

Can you imagine in any other walk of life, your Dad getting involved with your bosses decisions at work?

Football is so up it's own arse at times.

I'd love to see him get a run in the squad. That last run out from Frey was very poor, someone must be doing something very wrong to be behind that.

I feel he has acted professionally and got on with what is needed to get into the team. This whole episode smacks of someone kicking their pet because their partner had a row with them. So much for a clear path for youth players.

The grass is always greener.

Whatever has actually gone on, it's definitely been handled badly. Even from a purely financial perspective, I don't really understand what the club are doing. I might be being thick, but getting him to sign a four year contract and then banish him to gulags doesn't make sense does it? Presumably they wanted to extend because they see him as an "asset"... But to then stonewall him from the team surely means no one will take an interest, and he just sits it out, taking a salary, as he steadily loses value?

And from Kolli's perspective he's stuck in purgatory when he presumably wants to be testing himself and playing football.

Edit. And as I'm sure has already been said - it's absolutely horrendous for the club's image as a place for young players to come and develop for this to play out all over social media

Agree again, Brian.

How can a parent stop a talented boy progress at a football club? I’m not on social
media other than on here so if I’ve missed something i apologise. I don’t get this and it’s got a Rangers stinky thing about it. This board doesn’t miss a trick; I trust it and between us we smell a rat. Not good.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

In one of our TV games a month or so back the cameras panned to our director's box.

Nourry was sat so low/slumped in his seat he looked like a brat in detention.

His general demeanour/look was really slovenly and shabby looking - I was quite shocked frankly.

Basically, I cant see how Nourry could demand "professionalism" from anyone really.
