Carrying on as Match Thread Op - "winners stays on", after good result but not so great performance against Sheff Weds.
Got a feeling, we will be heading for our usual defeat in the cup, and with four key players injured, am guessing it wont be a top team at all selected. And think West Ham will play a top side as a defeat here and i think Nuno loses his job.
Hopefully Mr Ronnie is at least in the squad also.

We are all about a foot from it now, which is pretty close.
Apparently according to reports 6000 extra Rangers fans in areas around the away end so that would make 15000 away fans and still over 4000 tickets on sale at West Ham box office.
Think we all know who will be heard the most !!!
But please can we not hear the song "3 nil on your big day out"

That's handy, coz Colin's over it.
Colline is over the hill? If you know, you know.

At the beginning of the week I was smugly sat thinking... you 9000 fools being duped into thinking we might turn up for this... and me giving it the Spanish Archer
Noe 10 o clock on a Saturday night I'm starting to regret my smugness. To all going hope we do you proud and at least give it a go....
Even giving it a go I can't see us winning... praying for pens and a sneak through... please
But think it will be either 2 or 3 nil to the spam....
Y'know, it's not all about winning, but it's very much about turning up.
Rumour has it we have taken around 6k of the home tickets as well as the whole 9k away allocation. Surely that can't be true? Whatever the result feels like a good day out for us R's!
Edit: sorry for the random post... Not posted on here for many many years and prefer to read rather than anything nowadays

4-1 West Ham. I predict West Ham will have the cue on the rack by half time and there will be a bit of a fan melt down because people have let their imaginations run wild.
QPR are never more prone to dissappoint then when theyve sold.out a huge away ticket allocation.

I’ll have that razor secreted into the peak lining of my baker boy hat today.
As for the garlic…. Other onions are available.
Can’t see anything other than a defeat. And that’s shallot.
Westfields derby here we go
Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal

I have realistically low expectation for today. West Ham are bad, but still way better than us. They’ve also been a bit unlucky this season, so I’m fully expecting them to go in hard.
We won’t be playing a full strength side which poses obvious problems, plus we got 9k coming for their big day out.
All I ask is that win or lose, we do so with dignity. This won’t be a ‘giant killing’ and we aren’t the ‘plucky underdog’.

Got to admit, the Burnley/'Wall result from yesterday is a bit concerning. Despite their league position, the gulf between Premier and Championship is enormous. We have to field a strong team and have a good day - and they must have (another) off day.
Come on U R's!!!

Yeah it's got me a bit rattled too. A good result here would do wonders for Stephan and the sense that we're moving forwards. But a shoeing and it's going to be "same old QPR" and all rather depressing.
