Awful place We left las iguanas in Westfield at 2pm and still missed the first 10 minutes Utter shambles of a gaff Won’t ever go there again , I hope they drop to league 2 as well We don’t know how lucky we got it at loftus road Cherish it people
And Bowles is onside, Swinburne has come rushing out of his goal , what can Bowles do here , onto the left foot no, on to the right foot
That’s there that’s two, and that’s Bowles

All those people suggesting we move away from Loftus Road should have made that hour and a half shuffle back to Stratford Station through a God forsaken hell-scape. Lord preserve us from a new stadium. worse place I have ever watched football.

Moving to a new stadium doesn't mean the experience will be the same. If we move it would be purpose built rather than a 2012 Olympic hand me down

The stadium was terrible, but the real pain was the journey to and from; the barren environment, the one station, the schlep. For that read Park Royal or Royal Oak or Scrubs Lane or Hanwell or any other God forsaken, outer London site. Loftus Road is in the perfect spot for transport, pubs ,restaurants, life.

There were hundreds of people outside still trying to get in at kick-off time.

The walk from Westfield to the ground took much longer than I expected.
It wasn't so bad on the way back as I went to Pudding Mill Station which saves you the walk to Westfield.

The double airport security checks was totally unnecessary. They've never really been on my radar before but I wish them nothing but the worst after trudging along at a snails pace trying to get home. Most cost them an absolute fortune to steward that dump. Unless they've managed to get the tax payer to pay for that too.

No Jubilee line obviously didn’t help but they intentionally make it such a ballache getting you in. Glad we decided to err on the side of caution and made our way from Farringdon early. I’m sure plenty missed KO. Walk round the long way, security check like you’re going into a prison, another security check, sniffer dog. Unfortunately expect it’ll be the norm at big grounds.
Went back from Pudding Mill Lane rather than Stratford and it was a lot better.
I think the day we move to a Pride Park sort of ground nowhere near much is the day I pack it in.

Minority view obviously, but I thought my view high up behind the goal was fantastic, though the distance would be a problem lower down. The security was a pointless irritation and the location is awful, but we came in on the District Line to Bow Lane - 25 minutes walk (apart from a detour round the canals) and pretty easy each way. We know now for next season.

I got the DLR to Pudding Mill Lane on the way to the game and drops you right by the away end. Followed the crowd on the way out and ended walking straight to Stratford station and that was b@llache.
For those that went Pudding Mill Lane after the game, what was the crowds like? Was it easy enough getting on?

I left a minute after the final whistle. It was really easy getting back to Pudding Mill Lane and I even got a seat.

Platform was busy but no issue getting onto the first train out of there and as mentioned it’s a much shorter walk to the away end than Stratford. One to remember for next season.

Not as bad as I thought it would be because we were behind the goals and the view is comparable to most large grounds but the security checks / stewarding seemed well over the top. Would hate to be at the sides (where I am at lR) because it's miles away from the pitch (even the benches are a full penalty box away from the touchline.
Missed the memo on DLR station being closer to the away end
