It absolutely amazes me what a lot of our rank and file fans have accepted this last 12 or so years. I've gone beyond the point now where I'm surprised there's not been large scale demonstrations at the circus in front of us..... was a contributory factor to dropping my ST after 33 years.

There's a public quote from a while ago where it was stated "the club will be sticking to the path no matter what and not panicking over any run of form or be it bad or good" or words to the extent. I remember thinking at the time it was basically a golden ticket for the Nourryvirus to do what he wants carte-blanche and was very concerning.
It's another Groundhog Day for me as I've thought we'd get relegated every year since the day dot.... forever thinking the sky is falling in as many have put it. This year feels worse (they always do becuase it's the here and now!!) but bigger concern now due to us falling itno a massive rut at exactly the wrong time with very little option to change anything or turn the circus tanker.
We can only circle the drain so many times and one thing I am sure of; if we do drop it will need something drastic to stop us dropping further due to how the current idiots in charge have set us up.

I do think we'll survive if only because we have 'winnable' home games but I do think the Millwall away game is going to be massive. If we get tanked there, I do feel a lot of the happy clappers, the neutral and even the Nourry fan boys on Twitter will have to wake up.
And I know they control the narrative as much as possible by not telling us anything about what's going on, dropping meaningless statistics about how we are actually x% fitter this season, etc. but even dopes like our board must realise they are being duped.

Nourry is going to be the least of the problems. I think I posted a few months back that the club has gone all in on this new way of doing things.
If they get rid of Nouryy what do they do? Do they dismantle the entire legion of backroom staff? That's going to cost a bomb, they won't walk that's for sure.
Do they parachute in a new DoF? A new CEO? Will they change everything again?
Do they bin JS off?
We've suddenly got, it appears, a lot of unhappy players. Their value is dropping.
This is going to cost an absolute fortune to do. I don't know what the fix is, but I'm not sure the club can afford to sack Nourry or any of his mates. It'll be JS, and we start it all again. |

They are both universally despised around the club. If you binned off Hoos shortly after there would be corks popping in the canteens.
Now of course that doesn’t solve the wider issue, but you could install a new DOF and CEO to work with what they have and instantly see results. The issue is that Rubes doesn’t care and hasn’t cared for a long time. And this to me is the real problem.
Put aside Nourry and Williams, you have an owner who has stated his kids won't let him sell as they are fans. He wants his money back (£2m a month) and ain't gonna budge.
This all smacks of a little Sheffield Wednesday vibe.
Forget Nourry out and all of the rest of the noise, they're just symptoms. If people on here really want their club to succeed then the owner has to go.
We could face a complete financial armagedon, but nothing is going to change unless the top man is forced out.

Desperate to sell does not equate to 25m put down on the training ground, a further 5m+ minimum in phase 2. Covering 20m+ losses every season. Announcement of plans for Category 1 academy. And a 25m transfer kitty in the last 2 seasons. Does it?
The owners have repeatedly publicly said they are in it for the long haul, and continuously demonstrate that with investment plans.
What they must do however, is remove the Hand of Hoos once and for all - and his wild decision to hire unqualified child protege Nourry, who in turn hired his unqualified sidekick Bicycle Ben. But also our previous DoF, was the right age, steeped in QPR folklore, a football man, and kept a lot of other QPR men, and football men in post also, but according to many on here too, went from Sir Les to Evil Les.
At the time, i found those that were so disrespectful to a QPR legend, who was a decent DoF for me, well all those that called for the demise of "Evil" Les, the club listened to you, and you helped with the club taking this complete change around.
i hated the "Evil" Les thing at the time, but those that started all that, you got a change all right. |  |

It looks like there are a few new roles and if the roles aren’t being replaced, then it’s a statutory redundancy no? That shouldn’t break the bank. Nourry would be the bigger cost to remove but I would also imagine that having a separate DoF and CEO will be more costly annually anyway, so if that’s the route, just got to “eat it”.
On the other coaches that would be replaced. Surely you assess them do it over time.
This is a tier 2 English football club not some multi-national business with thousands of employees. 1/5 of the Saito money should do it all. | | | |
