All the comments about results against the top 8 /bottom 8, if we want to directly compare against last season, you have to wait until the end of this season to see who actually finishes top 8 / bottom 8.
Some of the early games against Southampton and Derby for example, we were disappointed because both teams had started slowly and were below us when we played them (Southampton were 21st, Derby 17th) so they felt like bad results against teams in the bottom 8.
Currently they are 6th and 8th respectively, so does that make those results look less bad?
IIRC Ipswich were also below QPR when they visited LR and spanked us 4-1.

This season QPR have drawn twice with Oxford (without scoring) and lost games against Norwich, Blackburn, West Bromwich Albion, Derby, Norwich and Southampton when they were down the bottom and in poor form.

Now you mention it, waiting until the end of the season to see where teams end up is a particularly low tech way of analysing this for someone who claims to be data driven. Doesn't really take into account the form, injuries etc. Also some team can get a lot worse or better depending on transfers especially in January, how's that factored in?

Enjoyed the interview and good to see Christian getting more airtime.
Whilst the jury is still out for me I do warm to him the more I listen to him. I guess my reaction is easier after the last two results and would be totally different if we were now in the dogfight.
He has a touch of the Richard Thompson's about him and as much as we despised Richard he was the last Chairman who had us running as a sustainable football club.

In short, QPR are extremely inconsistent and why a bottom half finish is to be expected almost every season.

I found the 2nd part more informative than the first with more varied questions and less wordy, more clear replies. Nourry admitted to the number of injuries to key players, and the large numbers of hamstrings, and expected their review of this to give various causes. I wonder if we will be informed of this. He mentioned Madsen and Chair, but I would have liked him to have been asked why we no longer seem to be told what the injuries actually are or when they are expected to be able to play for the 1st team again. As it is, it seems like he has gotten so pissed off with estimated return dates being too optimistic and the criticism given for this that he's decided fakk you, we say nothing.

Of course he isn't.
But he was also under no obligation to mention that they will be reviewing the problem.
Now that he has put it out there he really ought to follow through with what conclusions they reach.
Last season they tried to tell us there wasn't a problem with injuries (and other clubs are in a worse state).
This season they are admitting that there is a problem and they are looking into it (and other clubs are still in a worse state).
By publicly admitting that the problem exists they now need to be seen to be doing something about it. Otherwise there will be no place to hide if we get the same problems again next season (no matter how many clubs might be in a worse state!)

It was a good effort from Brian but like others I would have liked him to have pushed back harder on some of the answers he was given. It’s not unusual for people like Nourry to say yes to ‘safe’ interviewers who they know will not push them too far with challenging questions or then press them into having to answer more probing follow ups. Rather than Hunter I would have liked to see another of our supporters Nick De Marco in a room with him to see how he would have handled that situation. I’m sure we would have seen a different side of Christian Nourry. The only plus for me was the strategy on loan players.

He definitely seems to be running scared of Clive on here, probably because Nourrys greatest weaknesses is his ability to tie himself up in knots with very often over elaborate answers with a lot of corporate speak and waffle to cover up his flaws and am sure he knows this too.
At the end of the day though, there have actually been some improvements, and as have said before, I don't necessarily have to like the guy, he would not be one of my mates, for sure, but if he gets the job done somehow, I can absolutely overlook all this.
He is clearly an intelligent individual and whatever anyone thinks of his character and way of doing things, overall, there are some positive signs. He falls down big time on his actual communications. He is not often a clever speaker.
C plus for me, with potential to get to B minus.....

Well it’s been said a few times that the interviews were arranged before we won at Leicester so we can’t have a go at them jumping on the back of a win .
However , they are on the back of a plea by Hoos for the fans to stick their hand in their pockets to try and get the Community Trust out of the sh*t. “Let’s all do an interview so it doesn’t look so blatant “ 3 interviews and apart from admitting the Trust is in financial trouble , almost nothing said that we didn’t know or have heard (not necessarily true ) already . So why do them now?
