They do, lots of Brentford supporters near me and they are loving life at the moment, they play as a team and are financially sound.
I know a couple of blokes building their new training ground and it’s gonna be fantastic.

They are a very well run football club
They must miss Griffin Park though. The new stadium is ok but it has zero scope for expansion.

For me, Brentford's rise was forged in all those play-off failures we all laughed at back in the day (Yeovil, 'Boro etc). Unlike Luton and others (...), the Bees' ascent was therefore steady, continuous and incremental, building astutely whilst buying and selling players (partic. strikers) in a timely, planned manner. They rose solidly, but never too quickly. And today is the result - an established Prem Lge club built (literally) on concrete, not sand.

I’ve always had a soft spot for the Bees that even that dickhead of an announcer can’t take away. They were my Old Man’s team and growing up in Isleworth nearly all my mates were either Brentford, Rangers or that other lot from the Bridge of Darkness.
Like many Rangers, they were an occasional bit on the side back in the 80’s, esp when Stan was there, I used to go to GP with Brentford mates and/or when another mates’ team were playing there. I certainly don’t recall any anti-Rangers chants or hatred whatsoever back then, NONE - it was all reserved for Fulham.
