Has passed away at the age of 58, what a shock I thought he was a very funny and natural comedian.

Bloody cancer,

RIP.

My Father had a profound influence on me, he was a lunatic.

That's a real shock, terrifically funny man. His sitcom 15 stories high was really funny and a little under appreciated IMHO.

RIP Sean

Incredibly sad news.

He was a cracking comedian - clever, warm and hopelessly irreverent.

One of those "bloody hell" moments. Didnt know he was ill.

Enjoyed his work, often made me laugh although I hadn't seen him live. Shame I won't get to now.

Why stop now, just when I'm hating it

Fond memories of heckling him off stage at uni 25 years ago or so. After that I was amazed how his TV career took off.

RIP.

I just googled it and found out it was him.I know that lots of people die early, but 58 is way too young, especially as I’m 61 next month.RIp Sean.

One of the few comedians who often had me in tears with laughter , a natural talent and very likeable guy .
If you spend a while thinking about how infectious his humour was it is very hard not to smile which is a great legacy .

Shocked.

A genuinely very funny comedian I saw on stage at the Comedy store years ago years ago (although seems like yesterday).

Horrible disease. RIP Shaun, you were one of my introductions to stand up.

Never knowingly understood

Brilliant funny man. Such a shame, saw him live in a small theatre in London for a warm up gig and he was excellent

Never forget this from 8 out of 10 cats too!

Seen him a couple of times at the colleseum in watford..
I would go as far as to say he was up there with Billy connolly as this countrys finest comedian.
Desperately sad news. My favourite Chelsea fan.
Gutted. RIP.

I don't think the public knew he had cancer; I certainly didn't. He must have been fighting it for some while even while he worked. A quirky, funny man whose humour will be missed. Thoughts and prayers with his family and friends.

Watched a few Newman and Baddiel in Pieces episodes on YouTube and he makes some appearances in that. Thought he was very funny and quick. A great line from his stand up thar creased me up was him describing how drunk he likes to get when he goes drinking, "just the right side of sh*tting yourself" or something to that effect.

RIP

I’m gutted. A very, very funny man and a good one too, by all accounts.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?
