I'm interested in how Marti is feeling about his job as we go into this final clutch of games. Complacent? Comfortable-ish? A bit less secure than he was? If we have a precarious end to the season in a way that basically adds up to 'half-decent' for barely half the season and I had a seat on the Board, I'd have some qualms about next year. If not fully pear-shaped, it's gone decidedly 'meh' these past weeks.

No comments on who is fit, anyone ITK?
Definitely not ITK but West London Sport say that Varane and Lloyd are back in full training and available for tomorrow, Field appears to be close to a return and Chair will hopefully play again before the end of the season.
They gave a list of the players still injured which didn't include Cook so I reckon he's probably available, that injury he sustained weeks ago should have kept him out a lot longer he's playing on through the pain. He should really be resting it fully, I would hazard a guess that once were mathematically safe then that's him finished for the season, I'm sure he would be more than happy to see Morrison get some more game time.

Play with the same intensity as the Leeds game, and we have half a chance.
Intensity-wise, a lot will depend on who is selected in midfield. The Leeds game saw Dreamboat Ronnie picked alongside Colback, which gave us a lot more bite. If Varane is fit, I think Marti will make a change. Any idea on whether Frey will start?
'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

Depends if Varane is fit enough to start but if not then I'd definitely stick with Colback and Edwards.
I'd also much rather have Morgan starting at 10 to add more energy/physicality. It's Stoke away.
It’s that fun time of year where some out of contract players know where they’re heading and pick up mysterious injuries and others are desperate to do enough for a new contract or get themselves in the proverbial shop window. I’m excited.

Seeing as the Board had previously considered paying compensation to secure his services before they did, and that he was the CEO's No.1 choice, it would be quite a comedown for them to bin him off for the heinous crime of finishing above where we did last year, don't you think?

I wouldn’t be considering it myself but I think it’s going to cross the mind of any board should we stumble through these last games and end up narrowly staying up. Don’t think it’ll happen even if that turns out to be the case.

We’ve never once been told what was up with Varane in the first instance. He just vanished.
Varane, Cook and Lloyd all in training photos. Imagine 2 of those 3 will start tomorrow. And we have some relief for Frey off the bench. Kolli is the one who has vanished…..thought he was meant to be training again. Another one with injury issues?

Edwards & Colback will start in midfield if our CBs are fit.......Varane could start too. Not sure about Morgan & physicality. Two normal wingers with Frey up front.
Back 4....FB's Paal & Dunne then depending on fitness Cook , Fox & the other two.
We have a good chance......

With so many players still out of contract and in addition a fair few of the remaining players being injury prone , I can’t see many queuing for this job without a very decent wage offered. There will be a few of course, but anybody of note will baulk at the above. The squad is in need of a complete overhaul unless Cook, Colback, Frey, Andersen, Fox take a fair old pay cut and even then are they really good enough? Some are some aren’t. Jimmy will want a pay rise for sure which will almost certainly rule him out. But they have experience and if we do survive which I fully expect us to do , then I’m not sure I trust the people in place to get in the correct players to balance this lopsided sided squad and replace that experience. Tiny 10 fetish and left back phobia doesn’t help.
We don’t have the money to go full beans in the transfer window and there are no options to make money except now for the possible £1 - £1.5m for Kelman . We will have to sell him now as there is simply no one else to make money from. I worry about next season I really do .
But anyway let’s get this season completed first . If we limp home with more defeats than decent results , then Marti like his players has to take some of the rap. But replacing him with someone else will be a very risky move . By the same token , we can’t keep going ok these bad runs no matter who is the coach as sooner or later we’ll get what we deserve.
The fact that it’s happened with several coaches / managers simply tells you where the main issues lie.

You're assuming MC doesn't want to get out at the first opportunity and a pay off isn't a great option for him.
If I had a seat on the Board, I'd have some qualms about about those sat opposite me and their ability to do anything more than rinse and repeat. I agree with Mart, if the same issue keeps happening, whilst MC has to take fair share of responsibility, maybe the overriding issue is not the manager.

Celar will gradually build up his training load over the coming weeks
Chair sidelined for four weeks
JCS targeting pitch-based rehab in approx. two to three weeks
source: QPR FC Facebook
It's now published on the Official, the Steve Cook one is interesting saying he is on course to rejoin team training next week in the build up to Cardiff whilst at the same time posting pictures of Cook heavily involved in team training, guess it's resting him from match action then which I understand.
