Spot on Paddy, on both accounts.
Could also add that Smyth has started roaming inside too, hence the goals.
Could work on his dinosaur impression, looked more like Frankenstein but his acrobatics more than make up for that.

The one Schmid save was when Kone broke through and shot straight at him from the edge of the area. At the time the contrast with Kolli finding the corners with his two chances seemed stark, so I was pleased he had chances to improve on it later, should do his confidence a lot of good. |  | | |

If someone would of said to me at half time in the Birmingham away game "don't worry you will win the next two games by a 9 v 2 scoreline" I would of been sending for the men in white coats. Even by our bipolar standards the last two results are incredible. I was convinced we were being dragged into the dogfight.
I don't think I have ever seen us win a game like this before. For long periods we were second best but as others have said just "shut up" and bloody enjoy it which is exactly what I'm doing.

I'm in agreement that any team with that bad a defence & goalkeeper couldn't be described as being "the better team", but I've seldom seen Rangers in a three goals lead & not being certain that we'd avoid defeat either!

After watching our team capitulate in the final minutes of the Wrexham game, the fans were understandably nervous, even when the team was comfortably ahead. Though Portsmouth registered 20 shots, they didn't exactly carve us open. However, the number of times a Pompey player found himself with the ball in acres of space in and around our D was concerning. Wrexham took full advantage, Portsmouth didn't. The coaching staff need to look at educating a midfielder or frontman to occupy that space rather than everyone join the last line of defence. In the meantime, I'm enjoying the renaissance whilst it lasts and will focus on the fact that at the end of the day it's a results driven business. Despite the team's obvious weaknesses, the fact remains we won 6-1, we're up to the giddy heights of 12th in the table, and we've all but mathematically confirmed our Championship status with 7 games to spare. |  | | |

I think it's the weirdest game I've ever sat through at HQ, but hitting 6 is always great fun. I really hope Kolli starts every game until the end of the season. Let's see what he can do.
Pleased you also pointed out the failings. We shouldn't get to down when we lose badly, but neither should we get too hyped.

Mbengue played RB loads of times for Reading according to the fakes fans nearby and tbh thought that was his least dangerous position or should I say best. Looking at our CB options he has to be 1st choice RB next season. He has pace, such an asset, someone needs to work on his crossing but I think for an1st season in the championship the boy has done good. His back story explains a lot about his character | | | |
