| Player of the season, so far? 13:31 - Oct 23 with 2953 views | Wilkinswatercarrier | A third of the season gone, sitting pretty at the top, so who do you think is player of the season so far? And who is your most improved under Beale? Field as Player of the Season so far for me. Not sure if there is anyone else who can do his job. Most improved I think is Dykes, all round play is much improved. | |

| Player of the season, so far? on 13:38 - Oct 23 with 2382 views | Lblock | Field has to be in pole position at the moment. I’d be amazed if he wins it as usually it’s the Chairs and Willock who get all the attention. Most improved for me is Kakay. In his cameos I think he’s done really well and his crossing has been much much better | |
| Cherish and enjoy life.... this ain't no dress rehearsal |

| Player of the season, so far? on 13:41 - Oct 23 with 2365 views | LongsufferingR | Wow, what a choice. We usually have one or maybe two standout candidates but I'd find it hard to choose out of Laird, Paal, Clarke-Salter, Field, Willock, Chair, and I think Iroegbunam is staking more of a claim every week. | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 13:43 - Oct 23 with 2356 views | Antti_Heinola | Illy for me, but Field has been excellent and could easily be argued that Balogun has had the biggest single impact. Just 2 goals conceded in the games he's played a full part in, and he scored one of those himself. | |

| Player of the season, so far? on 13:46 - Oct 23 with 2331 views | SydneyRs | Field so far, what a signing he's been. If Willock had played more he'd surely be in the running. Honourable mention for Balogun who I thought would be a poor signing. Happy for him to continue proving me wrong. Chair, Laird, Paal all excellent too. | | | |

Balogun for me: made a huge difference. Quite amazing impact considering the slagging off Beale got on here for signing him up. Shame he’s not a few years younger. | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 13:52 - Oct 23 with 2278 views | dmm | Another vote for the Shield here. Just superb this season. Mind you, I wouldn't argue too hard against many others who've been fantastic. To quote Mick Beale, it's the team that's been the star. | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 14:00 - Oct 23 with 2251 views | HAYESBOY | Chair for me just. With Willock injured for a good part of the season so far, he has stepped up and driven games forward for us with regards to our attacking play. Would love to see his stats for mileage covered because it seems he runs his socks off every match and covers a lot of areas of the pitch. Field the shield does such an important job for us mopping up in front of the back four and setting up attacks for us. Paal has grown after his first 2-3 games and is invaluable down the left for us. Think young Tim will become an important player for the rest of the year. Jojo has shown us what he can do and of course Willock when fit has been outstanding. | |
| Smells like a trout farm in here |

| Player of the season, so far? on 14:30 - Oct 23 with 2187 views | DWQPR | Definitely Chair for me. He is the leading assist (tied with Johansen), in the championship, scored three goals and created more chances than any other player in the championship. He makes the team tick and covers more ground I suspect than any other player. Field does a job and does it brilliantly but the nicest thing so far is that we have picked up two more players that are ours for nothing in JCS and Paal who so far have shown that if we were to receive offers are each worth a few million. | |

| Player of the season, so far? on 15:34 - Oct 23 with 2117 views | WadR | Chair for me. Has played nearly every minute, important goals and assists. Works really hard on and off the ball and has really lessened the absence of Willock recently. Feel like he's developing into a leader too, see him always talking and encouraging players (occasionally angry with them too). Think Field had some ropey games earlier in the season. He's been fantastic the last month but don't think his performances have been better than Chair, Laird, Willock (in the minutes he's played). | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 15:57 - Oct 23 with 2063 views | BrianMcCarthy | Field. I think.... Willock would probably have it if he'd played more, and Chair is unlucky, but I think Field is simply crucial to us. | |

| Player of the season, so far? on 16:07 - Oct 23 with 2019 views | daveB | Chair has been fantastic for us this season. Laird and Paal also both been very good. | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 16:10 - Oct 23 with 2008 views | Lanhoop | Chair for me. Field close behind but Ilias has been outstanding on a very regular basis. | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 16:33 - Oct 23 with 1941 views | traininvain | Chair followed by Field but Paal another key player as he’s playing very well and there’s a huge drop off to his direct replacement. Granted JCS can probably slot in but I doubt he’d provide anywhere near the same level of attacking threat. | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 16:40 - Oct 23 with 1916 views | PinnerPaul | Too early and too many contenders....so far....remember last season folks! | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 16:41 - Oct 23 with 1914 views | Watford_Ranger | Dieng deserves a mention | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 17:23 - Oct 23 with 1806 views | Esox_Lucius | Definitely Chair, he is proper captain material, leads by example and never gives less than 100% in every game. Dykes & Kakay for most improved player under Beale. | |
| The grass is always greener. |

| Player of the season, so far? on 17:36 - Oct 23 with 1778 views | queensparker | Another vote for Chair, he’s the heartbeat of this team and he’s added a sense of responsibility to his game, always talking and leading by example on the pitch. Been a pleasure to watch him progress from the skilful wee kid to a real player. Clearly loves the club and been the one constant in three very different eras now. A QPR man through and through | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 17:39 - Oct 23 with 1763 views | swisscottage | maybe should have done this as a poll. Anyway to convert the thread into a poll ? With Willock missing half the matches so far Its a toss up between Field and Chair for me. They're both on another level and its difficult to pick between them, but if I had to I'd probably go with Ilias. | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 18:03 - Oct 23 with 1712 views | T_Block | Too early. | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 18:09 - Oct 23 with 1695 views | loftupper | It has to be Chair for me, drives the team on whether its pressing or pushing forward with the ball. He is also ever present, | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 18:24 - Oct 23 with 1656 views | QPROslo | Balogun- he's made us so much tighter at the back- or Willock- amazing goals. But many others as have been mentioned, have been mostly excellent, Dieng, Laird, Paal, Field, Stefan and Chair. Tim seems to improve every game. | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 18:26 - Oct 23 with 1647 views | digswellhoop | Armstrong played with passion | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 18:29 - Oct 23 with 1640 views | 08olesen | Not player of the season yet but Tim looks very tidy. Dare i say it hes got a bit of Yaya toure/ Paul Pogba about him. So rangy and yet he glides with ball. Could be 20-30m in the not too distant future. My only apprehension is that I thought Diakite was the next Pat Viera. Good start though. | |

| Player of the season, so far? on 18:32 - Oct 23 with 1627 views | Jigsore | Outside Willock i'd say if Paal keeps this up for most of the season I think it'd have to be him. that was a very short adjustment period for somebody playing not just in English Football for the first time but outside of his own country for the first time | | | |
| Player of the season, so far? on 18:34 - Oct 23 with 1613 views | Ranger_Things | Chair. | | | |
