Field as Player of the Season so far for me. Not sure if there is anyone else who can do his job.
Most improved I think is Dykes, all round play is much improved.

I’d be amazed if he wins it as usually it’s the Chairs and Willock who get all the attention.
Most improved for me is Kakay.
In his cameos I think he’s done really well and his crossing has been much much better |  |

Wow, what a choice. We usually have one or maybe two standout candidates but I'd find it hard to choose out of Laird, Paal, Clarke-Salter, Field, Willock, Chair, and I think Iroegbunam is staking more of a claim every week. |  | | |

Illy for me, but Field has been excellent and could easily be argued that Balogun has had the biggest single impact. Just 2 goals conceded in the games he's played a full part in, and he scored one of those himself. |  |

Field so far, what a signing he's been.
If Willock had played more he'd surely be in the running.
Honourable mention for Balogun who I thought would be a poor signing. Happy for him to continue proving me wrong.

Balogun for me: made a huge difference. Quite amazing impact considering the slagging off Beale got on here for signing him up. Shame he’s not a few years younger. |  | | |

Chair for me just. With Willock injured for a good part of the season so far, he has stepped up and driven games forward for us with regards to our attacking play.
Would love to see his stats for mileage covered because it seems he runs his socks off every match and covers a lot of areas of the pitch.
Field the shield does such an important job for us mopping up in front of the back four and setting up attacks for us.
Paal has grown after his first 2-3 games and is invaluable down the left for us.
Think young Tim will become an important player for the rest of the year.
Jojo has shown us what he can do and of course Willock when fit has been outstanding. |  |

Definitely Chair for me. He is the leading assist (tied with Johansen), in the championship, scored three goals and created more chances than any other player in the championship. He makes the team tick and covers more ground I suspect than any other player. Field does a job and does it brilliantly but the nicest thing so far is that we have picked up two more players that are ours for nothing in JCS and Paal who so far have shown that if we were to receive offers are each worth a few million. | |

Chair for me. Has played nearly every minute, important goals and assists. Works really hard on and off the ball and has really lessened the absence of Willock recently. Feel like he's developing into a leader too, see him always talking and encouraging players (occasionally angry with them too).
Think Field had some ropey games earlier in the season. He's been fantastic the last month but don't think his performances have been better than Chair, Laird, Willock (in the minutes he's played). | | | |

Balogun- he's made us so much tighter at the back- or Willock- amazing goals. But many others as have been mentioned, have been mostly excellent, Dieng, Laird, Paal, Field, Stefan and Chair. Tim seems to improve every game. | | | |

Not player of the season yet but Tim looks very tidy.
Dare i say it hes got a bit of Yaya toure/ Paul Pogba about him. So rangy and yet he glides with ball. Could be 20-30m in the not too distant future.
My only apprehension is that I thought Diakite was the next Pat Viera.
