Team for tomorrow 11:50 - Oct 16 with 2775 views | BklynRanger | Bit of a headscratcher, except for the defence where I wouldn't expect too many changes. Maybe: ----------------------Dieng------------- Kakay--Dickie---Barbet---Wallace -----------Ball--------Amos---------- Albert----------Chair--------Bright ----------------Dykes------------------ He may well play Cameron, and I'd love to find a way to get Carroll involved. Big Lyndon may be a bit knackered but think he'll push hard to start. That still leaves Thomas, Willock and Bonne as options, which is nice. [Post edited 16 Oct 2020 11:58]

Team for tomorrow on 12:00 - Oct 16 with 2711 views | davman | Think Dykes will be rested and expect to see Bonne up top. Real Q from me is whether we will see three CBs with wingbacks (yes, Kakay, no, Wallace) and two up top. Dieng Barbet Dickie Geoff Kakay Wallace / Niko Amos Ball Bright Bonne Uncs or Chair / Willock as one of those three. Christ, we really do have too many outside the back 4 don't we???

Team for tomorrow on 12:06 - Oct 16 with 2690 views | PhilmyRs | Yeah I’d go for that although I wouldn’t be against taking a look at Bonne as the lone front man and giving Dykes a breather. If BOS is sold today straight replacement for me would be Thomas. I agree with others that longer term I can see a 3-5-2 with Bonne and Dykes forming a partnership up front but would make it even more challenging to accommodate our attacking talent, especially if we keep BOS. The two in the middle of the park worry me a bit and think Carroll's shown glimpses of his passing range this season which could be vital in getting our tricky players on the ball more so again, wouldn't be against his inclusion. Very interested to see the starting 11.
Team for tomorrow on 12:15 - Oct 16 with 2657 views | bosh67 | 4-4-2 for me. Let's actually have a go at them. ----------------------Dieng------------- Kakay--Dickie---Barbet---Wallace Albert----Ball----Chair--------Bright ------------Bonne----Dykes----------

Team for tomorrow on 12:23 - Oct 16 with 2627 views | simmo | Think it'll be the same as against Wednesday, with the intention to bring Adomah and Bonne on later in the game. Maybe Bonne playing just off Dykes instead. I hope he will drop Amos and move Chair into 10 - also it would be great if we didn't have to play Wallace... I'd like us to start something like this though - depending on the match fitness of Adomah. ------------------Dieng--------------- Kakay---Dickie----Barbet----Niko -----------Cameron---LTC---------- Albert----------Chair--------Bright ----------------Dykes------------------

You're right on Carroll; despite reservations on my part, I think that he has been our best midfielder. I think Willock has confirmed negative test and I don't think that the quarantine rules apply to footballers, so I think he'll be in contention. Ridiculous that we have gone from no attacking options to <deep breath>: Dykes Kelman (maybe not yet) Smyth (maybe going) Shodipo BOS Thomas Chair Uncs Bonne Willock ...all going for three spots in this Warbsball formation

Team for tomorrow on 13:34 - Oct 16 with 2463 views | gazza1 | MW got a few big calls......... Chair.....not been doing great the last couple of games Dykes....can he start another game/should he be rested?? Cameron......captain (Poor decision imho) but should he be replaced by Ball MW has more tough decisions in so far as what of his new signings does he start. Dieng, Dickie, Barbet, Kakay, Bright are all 100% starters if they are fit. Boone has a good chance of starting too. He has got plenty of other players to select........tough times for the coaches but that is what we need to keep the players fully focused. I'm looking forward to the game despite only watching the game on my PC. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I could easily be wrong, but I thought the club stated that he had been tested shortly after signing for us that he passed & that meant he has been training with us. I'm also far from sure as I can't really identify him yet, but I thought he looked to be taking part in the training session that is being shown on the offie. I'm sure some of you would be able to confirm this or not.

Yes - good call, Terry. I'm fairly sure he was in training photos.

Team for tomorrow on 16:01 - Oct 16 with 2204 views | francisbowles | My preference: 343 with Cameron a bit deeper than Chair Dieng Kakay, Dickie, Barbet. Thomas, Cameron, Chair, Carroll BOS, Dykes, Bonn Bench: Kelly, Masterson, Ball, Amos, Adomah, Willock, Kelman

MW seemed to imply that Dykes would start on the offy. However he DOES have to take a covid test apparently, so obviously if that were positive, in a negative way!, he would not be playing for 2 weeks. [Post edited 16 Oct 2020 16:06]

oh thanks, I didn't see that. Just assumed he'd be cream crackered
Team for tomorrow on 17:26 - Oct 16 with 2069 views | LazyFan | He will go with Cameron rather than Ball as he thinks we are tighter defensively with him. I disagree and agree with most here, should play Ball instead. Bonne may indeed come in for Dykes or at least come on after 65mins. Uncle, I expect o the left with BOS on the right.

Team for tomorrow on 21:08 - Oct 16 with 1967 views | Myke | With the three young lads loaned out (disappointed about Smyth, a little disappointed, but not surprised about Shodipo ), it clears the decks a bit. Very surprised we haven't been able to move out a keeper, which is a unnecessary drain on resources. I think we might have gone with three at the back if we had got a CB in,but don't think Warburton wants Masterson in that role. Pretty sure Cameron will start as we haven't played for a fortnight. Hopefully he will play Amos deeper and move Chair more central. Warburton has made a lot of noises about Dykes being knackered, but assuming he is available, I think he will play for an hour. Dieng Kakay ------------- Dickie----Barbet --------------Wallace Cameron---------Amos Adomah ------------------------------------------------------------BOS Chair Dykes Kelly, Kane, Ball, Hamalainen/Masterson Carroll, Bonne, Thomas

Team for tomorrow on 09:11 - Oct 17 with 1659 views | derbyhoop | Expect to see a fair bit of squad rotation over the 3 games in the next 8 days. The decisions are:- Give Hammelainnen a chance. Only possible change in back 4. Although Kane may get 1 of the 3 games. Cameron or Ball Who plays alongside the one selected assuming we stick to 4-2-3-1 2 from Carroll/Amos/Thomas Albert/Willock to start or as subs Is Dykes rested enough to start. Don't expect him to last beyond the hour if he does.

Listening to MW, think he has come round to Clive's way of thinking! Said there is no point planning for match 3 and then losing the first two - or words to that effect. Something I know Clive used to get irritated with IH about when he rested players when we had 3 games in a week.
