Desperate for some of these. Can people post all the links etc they come across? I'd take clickbait, I don't care, I just want some excitement to go with Ian's arrival.

More blood.

Thanks.

Poll: Should JFH get the sack?

Even if we're not bringing in players for a fee/Villa for some reason gave us a good deal on their youngsters I don't know where the cash for a trolley dash of up to five players comes from.

Poll: And it's hi ho

Not happy is he.

Think we'd mostly all agree the big weaknesses are the ones identified there, hopefully we're not gambling the future away again but hard to argue we don't need changes in those positions.

Without wanting to dig up old bodies.... isn't this essentially what Warburton concluded as well?
Niko, Dozzell, Kaky, Masterson, Thomas are all not up to it

Must mean we are going to try a back 3?

Only issue I have with this is who loses out up top. Chair, Willock or Roberts?
You cant play 3 behind a striker unless you play 3-3-3-1

Hope it works out.

Could go with Roberts or WIllock as a false Number 9 it worked for City for the last 2 seasons the only thing is they have Kevin De Bruyne Rodri and Phil Foden in midfield we have Field Johansson and Dozzell hmm slight flaw in that plan

It would possibly end up a bit Keegan style but…

Dieng
Dunne - Dickie - JCS
Laird - Chair - Field - Willock - Paal
Roberts - Dykes

Attack is the best form of defence.

Perhaps it would be 3-4-3 with that being the front three.

I have no idea how we will line up next Tuesday!

Blackburn have decided to do the same in terms of an experienced head at the back, but they're thinking about Steven Caulker instead

Maybe the plan will be to play

Dieng
Dunne - Dickie - Balogun (JCS when fit)
Laird - Chair - Field - Johansen (Richards or Amos when fit) - Paal
Roberts - Willock

Think you'll find Balogan first choice in the middle of the three. Dickie on the right, Dunne / JCS on the left.

Be interesting to see if he can be as good and effective as De Wijs when he was fit...

Can we go out yet?

Pre Covid wasn’t a rumour going around that we was looking at a club to buy ? Possibly Belgium

I think you'll find it was in actual fact, 'Belogun'...and we've acquired Belogun without a shot being fired.

Think you will only very occasionally see 3 at the back.

I always think a 'False 9' sounds like someone playing in one of those Groucho Marx disguises.

Side note: there was another Marx brother called Skiddo. Very unpopular, apparently.

As you were.

Would love this, was sad we didn’t pinch Rudoni from them before Huddersfield did and think Assal is a similarly good talent. Will replace Chair/Willock in a years time

Mass Luongo rumoured to be going to Reading. They seem to be going for a QPR old team. Maybe they'll snap up Todd Kane...

I'm sure we've got a couple of players that are available they could have.

No interest for any of ours. At least not according to BBC.
